“I was blessed today to have two beautiful ladies to take out to dinner tonight and I chose Sweets Bar and Grill. We could not be any happier with our decision. the all you could eat cod dinner was spot on the fish was amazing the baked potato was cooked to perfection and the mixed vegetables were pleasant surprise as an option. the mashed potatoes and gravy also were very good. the third person in our party had the steak bites with garlic parmesan fries and she said that the fries were cooked to perfection and the steak bites were amazing. the atmosphere was very family-friendly the service was amazing and I see their training a new girl and that is great to see new energy coming in to the bar. if I were to rate my experience at Sweets tonight I would give them an A+ and I highly recommend it if you haven't been there yet everything on their menu is a treat from the simple grilled cheese all the way up to burritos Cod dinners and pizzas burgers and sandwiches and appetizers cold drinks, and drink specials. not to mention how clean the establishment is everything from the front door to the bathrooms to the tables floors walls and ceilings. we had a "Sweet" experience. they even have some very nice attire hats t-shirt sweatshirts coffee cups mugs for the mug Club for drinking draft beers. a neat little spot in northern Michigan to stop and be impressed by what they do in this small little town. 5 stars“

“Huge dive bar near Crystal Mountain in Thompsonville. I enjoyed the open space with plenty of seating, including a very large outdoor patio. They have pool tables and a dance floor if you like that. The prices were very reasonable.
I look forward to returning.“

“Took the family for dinner as they were having a Polar Plunge fundraiser for Special Olympics. Everyone enjoyed their dinner and drinks. Service was outstanding! Being local, we highly recommend this place for some good food and friendly atmosphere.“
