Finally found a spot that nails both styles! I started with a New York slice topped with grilled chicken and olives—you can tell the chicken is cooked fresh and not that rubbery frozen stuff. They also have a killer Detroit-style deep dish pepperoni that was absolutely phenomenal.

Pizza is amazing and the smash burgers are killer. Staff is so friendly and helpful. We love this place. When you ask a local where they go - they all say Upriver Pizza!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND
