Hungry Howie's Pizza in Houghton Lake, Michigan is a popular choice among locals and visitors. The restaurant is known for its delicious Bee Sting pizza, which customers have driven over an hour to enjoy. Despite the lack of an eat-in area, the staff is friendly and accommodating, even offering guidance on the weather conditions for safe driving. In addition to the Bee Sting pizza, Hungry Howie's also offers a tasty chicken, bacon, and ranch calzone, as well as a warm, giant chocolate chip cookie that is a customer favorite. The staff is described as kind-hearted and having excellent manners, going the extra mile to show grace and hospitality to customers. While the ordering process can sometimes be challenging, the pizza is consistently praised as absolutely amazing.
