We were vacationing I'm Houghton lake and the hotel staff suggested we try Kilcare. It was an amazing surprise! The food was outstanding! Our waitress did an amazing job! We has two appetizers, the fried mushrooms and the warm spinach dip. Both were so delicious. I have to admit I ate the spinach dip with a spoon 😍. I got smothered chicken, it was perfectly cooked, we all ordered different things and they were all delicious. It is a place you must stop and have a bite...
We got our food to go. The place was pretty crowded. The food was pretty good. The steak and fajitas were very good and the broiled perch was dry. The green beans and baked potatoes were good. The food was ready when promised.
First time over 4rh of July vacation. Everyone's food was wonderful. Great cod and fries, perch and it was prime rib night. Service was fast. Will will go back next time we're in town.
