Excellent service, great waitress and food was excellent. Will definitely stop here again when in the area. My wife had the cod dinner and she said it was great and I had the liver & onions. The liver is tender & mild with excellent flavor.
My family came and checked this place out since we just bought a place a few minutes away. We have a big family and they only had a few tables that could seat us, but they did. (We ended up coming back again a week later with my in-laws, and needed an even bigger table). I got the club sandwich with fries, my husband got the broasted chicken dinner and said it was better than Frankenmuth! My sons got the cheeseburgers and my other son got a cheese pizza, my daughter got tacos....read full review

I grew up in the house next door ( now a used car lot) in the 50’s and early 60’s. I took my wife up there to show her where I grew up and was happy to see the Spikehorn was still there. We stopped in had lunch it was very busy so we ate at the bar. Service was great bartender was friendly and efficient. Food was good . No complaints. I will be going back whenever we are back to Houghton Lake.
