We are visiting from Ohio. The custard here is hood. The gentleman at the window was sweet and informative. Once we pulled in it was suddenly really busy so I am glad the crowd came. I got the twist dipped in chocolate and it was devine.

This custard is divine. If you have never experienced it, you should. It is like the tears of Jesus fell into the custard, the angels sang and it was good. Five stars for the Jesus Custard.

Haven't been up to Houghton Lake recently but today we took the tour. The Custard Cup was a welcome remembrance. The recommendation was Grand Traverse Black Cherry and it was extremely good. The service was quick and friendly. The price was good. Nice couple from Cadillac shared that they had rode their bike over to get "the real custard". We recommend The Custard Cup for a tasty treat.
