I've been wanting to visit this place for a long time. The Ribeye I ordered medium and it was cooked perfectly as were the shrimp on top. The prime rib that was raved about really was mediocre though. I'm still drooling over the French onion soup. That would be amazing over the prime rib.The staff was really great, there was a new guy who did a good job and an experienced gal, she was holding it all down while also guiding him. The food was absolutely delicious!!! I had the spinach smothered chicken and my husband had the prime rib. We usually come to Houghton Lake to get away and I must say we will be making the Fox Den a must when we come!!! Not only was the food amazing, but AJ was FANTASTIC ?. This place will not disappoint!!!

We went w friends and it was prime rib night. The meat was delicious but their Fox Den potatoes were not. It did come w a generous dinner salad.Our waitress was very nice, but it took her 4 tries to get our checks right. She seemed very confused the entire time.Atmosphere?! There is none. It's like someone built a pole barn and said, "hey, let's put a restaurant in here!". The acoustics are terrible.
