A must try if visiting from out of town and looking for a lively place.

Visiting from Portland, OR: this place was extremely fun and lovely! We were looking for a place to have dinner, only to find most places were closed, but thank goodness it was open!
We were warmly welcomed by the bartender who was doing double, and may even triple, duty. He informed us of a few staffing issues, which we understood and didn’t see as a problem. We were seated and he took our drink order.

A love and, which was pretty cool, played old time hits from the 79s and 80s.

We ordered our food: Poutine and Half Rack of ribs with onion rings and polenta.

Pros: poutine was AMAZING! A must try to share or for an appetizer.

Cons: the ribs were a wee dry and had a bit too much bbq sauce for my taste. Still, if that’s your thing, I’d say try it!

All in all, I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a good meal, great service and live music.

Tonight before the Charlie Berens comedy show at the Rozsa Center, my friends were thinking of where we should go for food beforehand. I hadn’t yet tried Bonfire, so I recommended we try them.

My friend tried calling but only got an automated number. He got a number for a Julie but only got voicemail. He used google to sign us up for a party of four for 7 pm.

We got there and the decor and building are beautiful. We were seated fast and given menus and water. My friend placed an order for an appetizer. The other two in our party joined us shortly after my friend and I were seated. Our server was nice as well as our hostess.

We placed our orders around 7:15 pm. And we waited, and waited. An hour passed by and our sole appetizer never came. We were brought several carafes of water.

Finally one in our party asked someone where our orders were as we did not want to be late for the show.

Our answer was that there was only 3 servers and only a handful of cooks working. They would try to rush the appetizer but wouldn’t be able to fulfill our meals.

Our appetizer arrived and my friend was charged for it despite how the situation went.

I feel disappointed that my recommendation led us to eating Jimmy John’s in the parking lot of the show instead of what we had ordered.

Please, look into hiring more staff if you aren’t so when people go out of their way to try you they actually can.

Was able to get a table very promptly. Lotsa space! However not enough staff for it all. Two hour wait for food. They had a function upstairs but an entire floor downstairs of people waiting for food.

A nice bar with live music. Dinner took an hour and 45 minutes to arrive after ordering. The food was only fair, nothing special. There are better options nearby.

My husband and I are on vacation and went here for dinner tonight. Dinner for two took over two hours. It was over 30 minutes between being seated and cocktails arriving, which were terrible - I didn’t even finish what they were serving as an old fashioned. Food took another hour to arrive, and was brought out by a runner from the kitchen, not our waitress. Tables that arrived after us got their food before us, and one poor table that was there before us didn’t even get their salads until our mains came out. Our main dishes came out cold and dried out, like they had been sitting under warmers for some time. What was billed as brisket was just pot roast with bbq sauce. The the final straw was getting our bill with a 4% credit card fee already applied. We paid in cash, tipped poorly, and high tailed it somewhere for a decent cocktail (highly recommend The Observation Lounge).

Sadly, we did not read the reviews before going and our experience was similar to others... long wait for food, cold (meaning Luke warm toward the middle of the plate and cold toward the outer edges), poor cocktails, and card service charges when paying cash.

The food was was not great. I recommend going somewhere else. Earlier in the week we went to the library and they had hot food and the service was prompt.

Atmosphere was cool. Waitress was very nice. Took over an hour to get food. Ordered 2 appetizers and 2 fish tacos. Food was also cold. So disappointed. Wanted to love it. It was not at all busy either. If you choose to go don't expect to be amazed by the food and don't go unless you have at least 2 hours to spare.

This was my second visit to this establishment. My initial experience, shortly after their opening, was highly positive. However, a subsequent visit several years later revealed a decline in quality. The service, food, and overall atmosphere were notably diminished. While the appetizers were satisfactory, the main courses were disappointing. Specifically, my dish featured overcooked corn on the cob and chicken. The pesto dish lacked the expected pesto flavor profile. Furthermore, the chicken nacho dish arrived cold and was a congealed mass of ingredients. The server, though pleasant, appeared inexperienced. Finally, the area beneath the stairs near the bar, cluttered with cups and dishes, detracted from the overall presentation. And there is a 4 percent processing charge if use your card.

Wow! Amazing from start to finish. I went there with a big group, and they did not disappoint. The appetizers were lights out! I got the ahi tuni, mussels, crab cakes, and coconut shrimp. Highly recommend!! I heard the filet was really good, so that’s what I went with. Melt in your mouth, with the garlic herb butter on top. Service was very friendly as well! Very cool and chill vibe, definitely coming back! :)

A very sad excuse for a dinner experience. I would recommend no one to go here for a meal. My server asked for our drink order, we ordered and she came back to tell us they were out. Changed my drink order. After 20 minutes we got our drinks. We ordered our food as soon as our drinks came. Waitress came back after we sat there for 45 minutes to see our empty glasses. I ordered another drink and my husband ordered a different beer. Waitress came back. They were out of what he ordered. Half hour later my salad finally came to the table. We waited another half hour to get our food. He ordered the gyro and it came to us, sad! The pita was so hard it cracked into pieces. The meat was cold and cracking just as bad as the pita was. Sweet potato fries were cold and soggy. I ordered the steak bite pasta. Wasn't hot, definitely been sitting. Flavor was mute. We were hungry as we were traveling all day so shared the pasta and sent the gyro back. The only thing pleasant about our meal was the band was really good. Shame on this place, hopefully it will get better but I will never know. Will never go back!!! The waitress tried but the restaurant was awful!!!
