“Always a good time down at the KBC. Alongside all of the canned varieties being available on tap there is usually a handful of lesser known favorites. Seltzer’s are a thing now too, there was even a frozen seltzer. That was a good as expected.Random board games available with 2 separate bars to order at. Small Patio in the back for outdoor enjoyment.”

And the food is fantastic too!Kid-friendliness: There are board games like Operation, Connect Four, Battleship, etc for kids and adults alike to play while waiting or eating. We played cards with a 7 and 11 year old and both ate well and were upset when we had to leave!”

“At first the hostess (with the nose rings) was not very friendly but our sweet waitress made up for it. Her name was Catherine . She was very friendly and took good care of us. We ordered everything in the photos. I had a salad which was yummy. We did not have to wait long for our table or food. Nice place to visit with good prices too. Anyway, thank you Catherine for the good service and thank you Ambassador for the good food-we will be back.”

“We all really enjoyed our dinner at Joey's The service was quick and the food was excellent. The grilled trout was moist and delicious, and the garlic parsley potatoes were good too. My family really liked the walleye & chips and original fish & chips too. Prices were on the higher side, but you get a lot of food for the money. I would highly recommend Joey's and would definitely go back if we visit Houghton again.Parking: We were able to park right in front on the street. It was a Monday though so it may have been easier than other days.”

“Had a wonderful birthday dinner, the wood fried shrimp, parsnip purée, soy reduction and seasonal veggies were excellent, my son liked his cheeseburger, my daughter and husband liked their tacos, the bread pudding was also good, it was our first time there and I look forward to a future visit”

“Great bar with great special wings on Thursdays. Only one pool table and not much else for entertainment. Service just in the nature of being a busy bar can be a bit slow but isn't anything crazy. Cheap pitchers ”

“Every time I go there for a quick bit to eat the staff are polite and will do their best get you out the door quickly, not that you'd want to leave as its a pretty clean store, almost to clean... Its still a subway, not really sure what you were expecting to find by reading this review.”

“Arrived just before our pick-up time and they were finishing our order. Fried rice was delicious and not spicy at all, si chuan cool noodle was delicious and pretty hot- had lots of chili pepper. Crab rangoons were delicious and stuffed with more cream cheese/crab mixture than you usually get at places. The kitchen looked clean and the workers looked professional and friendly. There are several tables to eat in but I wouldn't want to.”

“The store hours are much later than I would expect, which makes this a great option for some late night dining. It's Jimmy John's, the subs are better than subway by a long shot. Staff were friendly and fast, would recommend.”
