“I had been excited to dine here since the new ownership and I was finally able to this evening. I was ABSOLUTELY impressed! Not only with the gorgeous space, but the service was beyond amazing! I came here tonight for a first date. I was pretty nervous as I am new to dating and was not sure what to expect. I had a great conversation at the bar with one of the bartenders (maybe owner?). I was early for the date and had time to tell her about my nervousness and we had a great conversation! It definitely put me at ease. All of the food that was brought out, not only to me and my date, but also other patrons, were beautifully plated. We got the charcuterie board that was quite impressive. I will definitely be back to try several more dishes on the menu. I highly recommend a visit!”

“If you’re in the Houghton area, you need to stop by here. Our server/bartender yesterday was great(wanted to give him a shoutout but can’t remember the name, he had longer hair and was very personable!) I had the grilled cheese with bacon jam, I don’t usually eat meat but the bacon jam was DELISH. My boyfriend had a great smash burger. 11/10 we will be returning.”

“I played on the Downtowner Lounge softball team in the 1970's. Great time. We always went there after our games for beer and food. Tom Romps would always provide a free beer after a game.”
