Retired executive chef, thirty years in kitchens. This place is the real deal.
Lawn seating over the canal, table service outside, a sauna right next door. Best hangout in the Keweenaw, hands down. Keweenaw Brewing has real competition now.
Go sit outside and see for yourself.“

“The bartender was friendly and accommodating. The place is fabulous with beautiful woodwork, the large mural covering the entire back wall, massive carved cabinets, a vintage cash register and the amazing stained glass canopy Most people there were tourists and didn't stay long but it's worth having a drink or two here to soak up the 1890 ambience.“

“Lovely old course to play on vacation. The gentleman in the clubhouse was great, helpful etc. One of the guys mowing was rude when I tried to find out where to leave my cart at the end of the round. Probably needs to find a job with little to no human contact.“

“BEST fried chicken in the Y00per. We tried everyone's chicken and non compare with copper mine. Pizza is really good as is the flame grilled burgers and steaks. the waitress's are a blast, you will be laughing.“
“The food is great, Bowling is great too, the lanes are pretty old so they break down sometimes but I always love coming here.“

“Tristan is the best!! We loved this bar. Came in on a Sunday night to grab drinks and play cards - Tristan was the only person working but did not let anyone go unattended and was so friendly and funny. Loved hearing about the history of the bar and how he and his mom co-own it. A must stop in houghton“
