come for the food, stay for the historic atmosphere.
Amazing burgers. Love the decor.
Burgers, delicious. Drunken pig sandwich, delicious. Fries, delicious. Paninis, soup, salad, wraps, apps, desserts, cocktails, beers, all delicious. The servers here are always fast and friendly. The location is good, and the design inside is super duper fun– they have a lot of old tiling and light fixtures, and stuff to look at. They're also always playing jazz, and it's just so very lovely. If you're in calumet, or even just driving through, I highly recommend this place!!!!

Michigan House Cafe and Brew Pub is a gem located in the historic area, offering eclectic decor and great food. The cafe serves delicious dishes such as the chicken Caesar salad wrap, burgers, and pulled pork wrap. Guests also enjoy the excellent soup, and the fries were great! The service is great and ensures a pleasant dining experience. The beautiful decor and historic bar make the interior interesting. The inside seating area is pretty small and can be a bit crowded. Parking was difficult to find. Worth stopping by if you are in the area for lunch.
