The service and staff were good. The salsa they put on the table had the taste and texture of marinara, not spicy, I was confused if it was even salsa. However! The actual food was great and I would come again! I got the veggie enchiladas

The music was so loud that I could NOT hear my friend talking! A request had been made for change for a dollar. Only 4 quarters. It was denied! Staff did not appear friendly upon arrival. Waitperson was terrific.

Best Mexican restaurant in the area.
The food was lacking spice, but for the area it was decent and good. Overall, the restaurant was fresh and updates and the atmosphere was very nice. The food was affordable and I must say their aguas frescas were delicious!

This place was FAST, service was AMAZING, and has the BEST fresh food! They were more than fairly priced and it has an awesome theme! Definitely our new favorite Mexican restaurant!!

Very cute and cozy restaurant! A lot of thought and creativity was put into the building. The staff is very nice and patient. Food was tasty but also little more pricy than other Mexican restaurants I’ve been to. I ordered the chipotle enchiladas and they were good but needed more sauce. One kid ordered chicken wings from the appetizer menu and she said they were good (only sauce is ranch and bbq). Second kid ordered the steak cheese and rice and he said it was the best dish he has ever got at a Mexican restaurant. Husband ordered the andale mi reyna and it was okay but not what he was expecting.

My husband and I had dinner at La Catrina’s while visiting Houghton. It was a great experience. The service was excellent. The food was delicious, and even the presentation was outstanding! I had the chicken and spinach burrito and my husband had chicken fajitas. We shared the fried ice cream. I highly recommend checking it out, they are just a few minutes from downtown and very easy parking.
