Mine Shaft & Rock House is a family-friendly spot with great staff, offering awesome pizza and a good selection of food, including burgers, sandwiches, salads, and fried mushrooms. The restaurant features fun activities like bowling, mini golf, and arcade games. While the food is usually enjoyable, some dishes may not meet expectations, such as the burger and pizza, which were described as just OK. The steak bites remain a favorite, and Jake provides excellent service. Although the hostess can be slow at times, the waitresses are wonderful. However, many arcade games may be out of service or malfunctioning, and wheelchair seating is limited. Overall, it’s a fun hangout spot with cheap prices for games, ample parking, and kid-friendly amenities. Just don’t expect it to be quick, and guests may notice that the place has not maintained its previous quality since 2019.
