Great experience with paddle sports. These guys went way out of their way to customize a river trip for my family. We loved seeing the sturgeon from so many new perspectives. Very pretty run close to otter lake dam. Thank you Robert! Was a workout but we had a blast!

Just not the best? I tried three flavors (pistachio, peanut butter, and sugar cookie) and they were all kind of bland. I’m thrilled there was an option, though. The peanut butter was the best. Good if you don’t like your ice cream to be too sweet. But the guy charged me $2 for a tiny container of whipped cream for my dog haha. I thought that was a bit excessive

They have many choices of ice cream and gelato flavors, including vegan options. The staff are friendly and even though they were busy, service was quick. However, that gooey, sticky stuff that forms at the top of ice cream containers? I got quite a bit of that in my dish of ice cream. Ick.

Rented a lily pad and was so much fun for our kiddos!! They had an absolute blast and played on it for hours. Tons of giggles and fun was had!

As a dairy free and gluten free person this place exceeded expectations!! not only do they have MULTIPLE vegan flavors including chocolate, mint chip, coffee, and several others they also had TWO types of gluten free cones. A waffle and sugar cone. Several other amazing flavors for regular ice cream. It was incredible!! 6 stars if it was possible.

The random number spam scam calls and texts have been non-stop since I gave them my number for a text receipt. I've received over 20 in less than 24 hours. But the service is great and very friendly.

The ice cream is delicious and the service is excellent. My kids have visited 5 times this trip. Portage paddle sports is a phenomenal place to visit for ice cream, rentals and apparel.

Drove to the other location to find them closed 45 min before the time online. Came to the houghton location to find the guy on his phone one girl talking to her friend. They went back and forth on who was gonna scoop my icecream. Once I was leaving one girl said night and I didn’t respond as she didn’t wait on me and was talking to her friend. And made some sort of comment about me not saying anything to her. As some one with social anxiety it’s hard to want to come back to place that felt so unwelcoming by the staff.
