This has become one of my regular spots, and it truly stands out as the only place in the UP Michigan where I have felt such a strong commitment to excellence. It reminds me of home where I was originally from in Asia. The food was great! The miso soup was really well done, nice flavor and the Godzilla roll was great as well! It's a small little shop that reminds me of the ones in the northern prefectures - except they would have cats wandering around the place lol. If you're looking for a small place to get some sashimi, rolls, or rice dishes, this is the place. Reminded me so much of Iwate. Thank you guys 🫶🏼
I've been coming into town Houghton/ Calumet annually to visit family for 34 years. It's nice that the area has continued to add more interesting places and options to dine, etc. My 17-year-old daughter and I were strolling and shopping in downtown Houghton and noticed the cute outdoor patio at Sky and then noticed it was sushi.
