We tried The Forge for the first time and WOW, absolutely delicious!! We both had the Forge burger and I have to say it’s the best burger in the area! It had the right amount of char and crispiness on the edges yet with the perfect overall texture and juiciness! The right amount of grease and melted cheese on the wrapper where you immediately knew it was going to be so, so savory and yummy! Next time we’ll try the brisket and we cannot wait!
Always delicious food here! Staff is very friendly. Only had an incorrect order here once and they were happy to fix it. The Forge is definitely one of my go-to places when I can't decide what to eat. One of my favorite places in town for sure!
The Forge catered our Welcome Dinner Wedding celebration in Copper Harbor and we were so happy with the quality and tastiness of the food! The catering group was on time and provided all of the necessary warming equipment. Everyone loved the food options and we would highly recommend to anyone planning an event in the UP! The Forge Food Smith is a clean and friendly restaurant that serves excellent, rich, and delicious comfort food. They offer a variety of dishes, including top-notch BBQ, gluten-free buns, and tasty meats with their signature BBQ sauce. The pulled pork sandwich is perfect, with tender pork that melts in your mouth and a toasted bun for extra flavor. The brisket sandwich is also delicious, and the vegetarian portobello “burger” is cooked perfectly. The staff is helpful and considerate, providing great customer service. While the brisket loaded tots are a standout, the mac and cheese could use some improvement. The food is quick, piping hot, and super tasty, making it a perfect stop on a rainy day.
