Good tasting food and cooked perfectly. Wood recommended the lemoncello chicken and the salmon. The polenta is great! Had a 6:30 reservation. Was seated around 6:45. As good food does, it took a while to be prepared. Most Italian restaurants will bring a complementary basket of bread to the table. This place used to, but no longer does. Crystal, the bartender, was our server, as they sat us at a small Hightop in the bar area. She was very professional and good.

I love how the flavor is on the brighter end -- it is not heavy at all. Gnocchi is the best we have ever had!

The food was good, but overpriced for what you get. The portions are small, especially for the price. What was most disappointing to us is the lack of bread for the table. It is an Italian restaurant without bread? The best you can do is order bruschetta or garlic cheese bread for 10 or more. The waitress had some excuse, then when we asked how long that's been, she said almost a year. You're telling me you can't figure out how to get bread for your restaurant for that long? At that point, pair up with a local italian bakery like Cantaro's and build some shelving to hold it. That was disappointing and inexcusable imho.

A delicious meal! This was our first time visiting and had heard great feedback. It was well founded! The cocktails were delicious, there was a nice selection of Italian wines, and the food was sooo good! We had the garlic bread and arancini as appetizers. Mains: Eggplant Parmesan (cooked perfectly) and Tortelloni (mmm crispy kale). We'll be back!

Cello's really helped make my mom's 85th birthday memorable — the food and service were superb! They even surprised her with a birthday dessert complete with sparkler candle. Between us we had the following and all were delicious: Drinks - creamy limoncello App - Sausage/pepper Entrees- Lobster Ravioli & Lemon Spaghetti with shrimp Desserts - Carrot cake & Crème brulee We look forward to returning!

Everything was fabulous-from the greeting at check in, to wait staff knowledge of all foods and wine, to swift bussing of plates for next course. The food pleased all 5 of us - typically hard to do! We'll be back. We had a blast.

We had our first date here one year ago. Back to celebrate. Flynn was the best -giving our table lots of care and attention. Very happy about this experience.

We had a wonderful time! The food and service were excellent! Our waitress, EMILY, was exceptional and she contributed greatly to the enjoyment of our meal. She made sure that everything was perfect. There were five of us and we each ordered the large size portions of our favorites so then we were able to share and enjoy all five. We hade a lot of food and Emily helped us divide and pack up the leftovers. Cello is not an inexpensive restaurant BUT the food and service are exceptional and well worth the price. If you are with a group, I strongly recommend you do as we did and have everyone choose a different entree and then share. It makes for a fun filled meal.

Fantastic fresh pasta, an extremely kind and sincere waitress . Loved the decor and furnishings. Overall fine dining.

We ordered family style, some plates small and ithers large. Their lemon spaghetti, brussel sprouts, and wild mushroom gnocchi are fantastic!

This meal was phenomenal, and I don't say that lightly. I honeymooned in Italy this Spring, and we chose that destination mostly because we love Italian food so much. When out with friends today, we stopped into Cello on a whim. I have to admit, I wasn't expecting much--just some comforting, simple pasta. An easy meal. But what we got was so much more! Cozy, homey ambiance, amazingly friendly staff whose passion for the food really shows, wonderful cocktails, and an absolutely delicious meal that rivaled most of the dishes I ate in Italy. All for an unbeatable price. And the namesake limoncello was to die for! I don't live in Howell, and never find myself out that way, but I'll have to make an excuse to go out there now so I can go back to Cello, which joined my list of favorite restaurants tonight. Shout out to Brook for being an amazing server/bartender/food-recommender!

Pissed off to say the least! My husband and I made reservations a week ago. Looking forward to eating out together we were on time for our reservation. Upon going to the front hostess area they said they couldn’t find it. Then we pointed it out on the tablet. They then said sorry our booth we requested was taken and tried to seat us in a very uncomfortable table in the front with a non movable table and very upright back, not what we asked for. When we said what about our booth they stated sorry not available and that they should have done better. You think???! This reservation was made a week ahead of time and we were very much on time. The young guy at the front was clueless and extremely slow moving. Completely unacceptable! We walked out never to return. What a disappointment. When we went to Diamonds to get a table and told them what happened, the guy laughed and said he’s not surprised. Really… then why be interconnected with this other restaurant. Disappointed and upset.. waste of time. Don’t spend your time or money on this establishment!
