Baked goods and desserts are great if you can handle the sweetness of it all. Price is reasonable if you're sharing.

Service leaves something to be desired, some of the employees seemed rude and like I was an inconvenience to them.

I had another customer made cake. It was exactly the theme we wanted (Pretty Little Liar) for my daughter’s 19th Birthday. Beautifully done.

Well, when I first moved into Howell in 2021. I was welcomed by M street bakery.
When I went in to the bakery to order the famous milkshakes. that they have The door was unlocked. The sign on the door said open. There was people eating in the dining area. There was people cooking in the kitchen, and I walked up to the cashier and said, hi, I'd like to order. And before I could finish what I said she said, we're closed, and I said, oh, what's the reason you can't get somebody to work? During these times back in 2021. It was hard to get people to come to work. And she said, no, we're just closed. So I turned around and walked out the door that was my first time in Howell
Being treated with prejudice.
Unfortunately, there are many more incidences after that. That's what prompted me to post this today. The incidents are throughout the city of Howell.
And unfortunately, most of them had to do with the younger crowd being teenagers and those 25 and under being prejudiced to me, because I'm a Middle Eastern man and a senior citizen.
Even though I speak perfect English and was born in America. I'm still being discriminated against in this city. Unfortunately, I made a large investment in the area. And I can't back out of it, but if I could, I would.

My husband and I took our two year old for brunch and I could talk about the atmosphere but what I was most impressed with was the service. We were the only ones in the bakery, we had no idea what we wanted (it was our first time), and the girls were patient with us. We wanted to take some cookies home for later, but wanted some without artificial dyes and they were quick to suggest some that were dye free for us. We really appreciated that. Definitely check them out!

Purchased a cookie that was very dry. Threw it away. Also tried a pretzel stick that was just ok. The store was very clean and the employees were very nice but I was disappointed in the food. The hype that I've seen on Tik Tok about this place is what made me want to drive the 40 minutes to try it out but unfortunately, I was not impressed and won't go out of my way to go again.

It was very nice and clean. Designs of the cookies are SUPER cute. The $20 I paid for THREE things was not worth it. The rice Krispy tasted very stale and the cookies were extremely dry.

We are so happy we chose M Street Bakery to create the dessert table for our wedding! Even though they don’t specialize in weddings, everything turned out absolutely perfect! The display was beautiful, the treats were fresh, and our guests could not stop raving about them.

The cake pops in particular were some of the best I’ve ever tasted. So moist, flavorful, and decorated beautifully. It was clear how much care went into every detail, and it made our day feel even more special. Our wedding cake was beautiful and SO moist and delicious. We loved it so much!

We’re so grateful to M Street Bakery for going above and beyond. If you’re looking for desserts that are both delicious and made with love, I can’t recommend them enough!

Who are we kidding, this place should be renamed to D Street Baking Company.. D for diabetes and I'm here for it. We've been meaning to stop in ever since they opened but for one reason or another didn't make it until today. And on one hand, that's a bummer, but looked at another way, my waistline thanks me. I brought our youngest with me and we each had our own milkshake -- another mistake, because one can safely feed a small village and we should have just shared. The silver lining is we got to try two different flavors and both were out of this world. It's a whole experience, not just a milkshake. It's not a spot I can visit regularly or I'll be buying a new wardrobe in much larger sizes, but it's delicious and quite the sugary fiasco. I can't wait to bring some of my sweet tooth foodie friends!
