I’ve never felt so unwelcome in a restaurant. The owner at Mark’s Midtown Coney Café was flat-out rude, and for some reasons lies about not being the owner. The staff clearly didn’t care about their customers. The entire place gave off an unpleasant vibe. Like you’re not wanted there unless you fit a certain mold. It’s the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to walk right back out the door. Definitely not worth your time or money. There are plenty of better, friendlier places to eat in Howell.

Great little coney located in the heart of downtown Howell, MI, right off Grand River Ave! Street parking available, or a short walk to a parking lot is also available! Small venue, but big tastes inside! Food is hot, fresh and well prepared with generous portions. Staff is fast and friendly! Stop by for a nice meal in a family friendly atmosphere!

Food was mediocre and service was the same. This time I just sat at the outside table and was chased away although there was another table and seats inside weren't full.

Online says they close at 4, door also said 4. I came in at 3:32 to try and when I walked inside I was told they were closed even though there were people who just finished up and were walking out. I am from out of town and was looking for a local place to try.. it was pouring rain and I had a 2 month old with me…. Waste of time and all I got was an angry baby.

My daughter and I like to come here and sit at the counter. Really consistent food, chef keeps a real tidy kitchen, and servers always keep our drinks topped off.

Nothing screams more than a home town mom and and pop restaurant. The food is 10/10, service is 100/10! When you walk into a restaurant and it’s so busy, you know they are doing something right. Food here is made with love and made to order! Definitely check this place out!

We are the owners of Michigan Southern Charm in downtown Howell, We tried Marks Midtown Coney Cafe twice now the food is absolutely amazing. Everything is homemade. And Luigi the owner is such a nice guy, Thank you for what you do for our small town, and your waitresses are the best. I give this place a five star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
