The food was horrible. The quality of the burger has gone downhill. It tasted like it was freezer burnt. Unfortunately we won't be back.

Didn't mark chicken sandwich correctly
Drive thru worker needs an attitude adjustment or a raise. She was really short and rude.
I ordered bag meals that come with drinks and I had a 30min - an hr dive ahead of me and asked for NO ICE in all drinks. I guess that meant 2 of the 3 were chosen to be ice free but that last one had ice. I asked nicely if she could make the 3rd one no ice. Idk why she huffed snatched it outta my hand and said yes really rude like. It's like it was a surprise that I wanted no ice in that one as well. I ordered NO ICE at drive thru speaker. And at least 2-3 people are listening on the headset so no excuse. You want me to pay these outlandish prices then I know this inst mcdonalds but I want my order the way I order it. No it's ands or buts.

Food is almost never fresh, even when I specifically ask for fresh fries I don’t get them and I’ve had to go back in and ask a second time . Breakfast especially the seasoned fries are always lukewarm and old tasting. Wouldn’t recommend coming here, staff is clearly too lazy to just throw some fresh ones in the fryer. They’d rather gives you old friend and a English muffin that’s hardened from being old.

I sometimes stop here after work, I get off work very close to close. Every time I come here the employees are kind and helpful. Connor specifically is extremely nice, communicative, and amazing at his job. I appreciate him and all the other employees so much. I appreciate them serving me so helpfully and kindly even close to close.

An Unexpected Pilgrimage into the Haute Cuisine of the Midwest

Tucked just off Pinckney Road, between the hum of truck traffic and the comforting glow of the gas station, sits a temple to culinary efficiency: Wendy’s of Howell. From the outside, it appears ordinary — a humble red-roofed beacon for the weary commuter — but within these walls lies a dining experience that challenges our very notion of “fast food.”

The Aroma greets you first: a fragrant medley of fryer oil, ambition, and nostalgia. It whispers, “You didn’t come here by accident.”

I began with the Classic Double — a deconstructed meditation on beef, geometry, and the American dream. Each perfectly square patty, layered with melted cheese that defies both physics and restraint, offers a harmony of salt, fat, and existential satisfaction. The pickles, placed with surgical precision, provide a textural counterpoint worthy of applause.

The Baked Potato, served in its foil cocoon, arrives like a humble gift from the heavens — a simple starch elevated to a level of spiritual significance once butter and sour cream enter the chat.

Of course, no Wendy’s journey is complete without a Frosty — that enigmatic dessert that exists simultaneously as a beverage, a dessert, and a life philosophy. Dipping fries into it feels almost rebellious, a culinary sin that tastes like forgiveness.

Service here is brisk but warm — the staff operate with the quiet professionalism of a Michelin brigade, though one imagines their mise en place involves a ketchup gun. The ambience, illuminated by the gentle hum of fluorescent lighting and the chorus of the soda fountain, evokes a blend of Midwest modesty and culinary destiny.

When I finally stepped out into the Michigan dusk, my soul was full. The frost from my cup melted slowly in the cupholder, like time itself — sweet, fleeting, perfect.

Final verdict:
A transcendent exploration of comfort and cholesterol.
Wendy’s on Pinckney Road isn’t just feeding Howell — it’s nourishing humanity, one square burger at a time.

If you are ever in any sort of hurry DO NOT come here! Slowest workers ever!! Waited for 30 minutes for two items and they were not meals! Pick up the pace Wendy’s. Wow!!

After purchasing a double burger meal (including fries and a drink) and also a brownie batter frosty. After leaving the drive thru i realized I was not given a straw, napkins, or spoon for the frosty. It's unfortunate that this seems to be the normal level of service based on other reviews. Maybe it's time for their management to make major improvements.

Went to pick up an order and was told to step away from counter after letting know I’m there. Ok sure… employee begins to complain about people having “eyes on them” I’m sorry me standing there waiting for the food is a problem? Pretty sure you should have “eyes” on you to make sure you don’t mess up the food especially as they switched the fries between 2 different bags multiple times while waiting. But worst of all despite knowing what I was waiting for they then walk around me while have my hands out to put the food on a shelf past me while not saying a word. Even other customers looked on with disbelief… I wasn’t rude just said who I was and waited patiently while on my phone yet was treated this way. Terrible customer service
