On our one-night stop at Howell we had a nice dinner at Eternity Brewery and since they do not serve desserts we went hunting for ice cream.
We came across Whistle Stop and we were not disappointed.
Small and cute ice cream stand (a caboose), good service, and quick.
They serve Ashby Michigan, rich, creamy, and lots of flavors. One scoop per person was more than satisfying.

Portion sizes are getting awful the last few times we’ve been! My double scoop has barely been equivalent to one full scoop I get anywhere else.
For what they charge, I’m starting to find it completely not worth the trip! We used to love this place but it seems inflation greed is striking yet again.
