Great food, and friendly service. When you are up at the Lake, you fish hard play hard and No one wants to leave the lake to go inland to Alpena. It just makes sense To run over to the North end restaurant for a great breakfast and family dining. In today's economy the prices are so very reasonable I couldn't cook for that $price. Great memories of running up there in the evening for ice cream cones for the family... It's all part of the summer experience.
Chicken tenders were really good. They were out of texas toast when we got there, but their blt was really good, too. Good food, good portions. Nice service. Two thumbs up. One drawback is no kids menu.
