Ordered a chicken strip wrap and they sent a chicken Cesar wrap :(
Only issue was that they forgot to put no tomatoes on my wraps both times I ordered there everything else was good though! And customer service on phone was great. Only thing lacking was no napkins or silverware. Good food though to say the least.

It’s a casual atmosphere. Great food and great service. Entertainment on the weekends and events during the week like DJ trivia night. Highly recommended!

I thought staying away for almost 2 years would help me forget the horrible food from before and give me the courage to venture back, at least for a simple breakfast. Never second guess yourself. Why can't these people find a good cook? Way to kill a sausage!

Great little find while on a business trip. Had the black and blue burger. One of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Glad I stumbled upon this little gem.

If you want to eat cold food. This is the place to go. I would refer to Lucky's place because they keep the food hot. If you order food here you get warm food on cold plates. Which eventually with the cold plates turns the food cold too. I won't eat here again. But one thing is good I can say. If the food was warm or hot, it would be good food. But it's cold food for now. Not only that they keep their fans on and you have to ask to put the heat on. That's not cool.

Went for breakfast and it was quiet and not busy. The service was great. Breakfast menu is small but sufficient.

We ended up here accidentally!!! So glad we did… My Grandma, daughter, & I were visiting family in Lapeer on Sunday August 13th. While we were heading to Sonic to snag some food, I got confused by the construction and stayed on 69 E instead of getting off at M-24. I figured I could get off of the exit and turn around… well that didn’t happen because of the highway being redone so we had to stay on the expressway until Imlay City. I decided that we wouldn’t let our trip there go to waste so we decided to eat while we were there & scrap the Sonic idea.We tried to go to a few places but they were closed Sunday, I ended up spotting Johnny’s place on Google and decided we could go there. I loved the atmosphere of Johnny’s upon entering. An american bar backlit with a cool lime green color, plenty of space, a stage for live entertainment, and the warmest atmosphere. A live, bubbly woman greeted us from the door when we walked in and she ended up being our waitress. She introduced herself as Tara and she was amazing! She was probably the best waitress I have EVER had. She was fun, bubbly, outgoing, warm, inviting, and just everything you hope a server would be! She moved fast and with a purpose, she ran the bar and the floor with the BEST attitude. I was so floored. Tara tells us what’s good on the menu, she said she doesn’t eat seafood but the fish n chips were popular. Also, her favorite is their burgers. She said the meat was quality and amazing every time, she even recommended to get it “Tara’s way” which is extra extra cheese lol. Now I’m not a burger person, but something kept telling me to get a burger, so I did a bacon cheeseburger. It was hands down the best burger of my life! My Grandma got fish n chips and my daughter got chicken strips.I’m not gonna lie I held out 0 hope that this place would actually be good. Great service & even better food? Yeah right, there’s no way! And I was SO wrong! I could just let the pictures speak for themselves but I love to write, so I’ll do the talking… the bacon cheeseburger was perfection! The bacon was crisp, the burger done but not burned and juicy, the cheese (there was lots) was ooey gooey, the bun toasted and yummy. Now the toppings, the lettuce was freshly washed and crisp, onions weren’t translucent or stringy, they were cut fresh, the pickles were delicious and I topped it with mayo. The fries have a unique coating on them, plenty of flavor and no need for ketchup. The fish n chips were well done including the fries and the pictures make it appear burned but I promise you it wasn’t….. the fish n chips were HUGE! They were battered perfectly, the fish tasted so fresh and the tartar sauce! I’m so picky on tartar cause many times people make it with no flavor or way too sweet! Johnny’s place does it right it’s just how I like it!My daughter’s chicken strips were hand dipped and fried, she is extremely picky and said she could eat them every single day.The prices were unbeatable ESPECIALLY for the portion sizes I couldn’t believe it!As I checked out I heard someone else come up and compliment Tara on how amazing she is and how the establishment is lucky to have her. I shouted over “I agree!” Because it’s true, she is that shining rock star you want to keep coming back for! The food was impeccable but Tara made the experience superior and above my expectations. I’m so grateful for that dining experience, I haven’t had an experience like this quite ever. Although I live far away in Flint, I am DEFINITELY coming back for both the food and the service! Thank you Tara & thank you Johnny’s Place!!! I will be back this weekend! Also there are outside patio seating options - so fun!
