“I can’t believe I’m going to review a Burger King, but this was the best one we’ve ever been to. We’re road tripping to the UP from Richmond, Virginia. Most of the BKs by us have closed, mostly due to service and food quality. Saw they were 15 minutes ahead so placed an order for pickup. We were just going to get back in the van after a bathroom break, but they actually have a play place. Food was ready when we arrived. Staff was super friendly. We’d stop here again if we were passing through.“

Our waitress, Alissa, was fantastic — friendly, patient, and she even took my food allergies seriously, offering thoughtful solutions so I could enjoy my meal safely. She also answered all my questions about the Serendipity Farms products they sell. My eyes were being wacky and Alissa even READ the ingredients for me. That’s Northern Michigan charm in action! Before you leave, check out their selection of local goodies: honey, jams, jellies, sauces, meats, fresh milk, and creamer. Bring a little extra cash because you’ll want to take some home. This place is a true local gem with great food and even better people.“
