It was very busy but the food still came out quickly and was hot and fresh. Service was good. BIG drawback --it was extremely loud. We couldn't talk to each other without having to shout to be heard.

Christopher’s is my top number one breakfast spot in Michigan, every single time we’re heading north or in the area it’s a must stop. The service is always top tier and the best food. If Christopher’s has no fans then I am dead. Although I experienced one of my greatest heartbreaks at Christopher’s. My tried and true favorite breakfast was the steak skillet topped with sausage gravy. The last time we were there the steak skillet was taken off the menu and I felt like my soul was ripped out of me. Please please please bring it back. Xoxo, love you. ❤️

Great breakfast food hidden away in Indian River! I had just come over the Mackinac Bridge in the early morning and was looking for some breakfast before continuing on my trip. This place has great food! And the coffee was decent, as well! So glad I decided to stop!

The breakfast food was delicious!!! Diner was clean! We had been seeking a great breakfast our entire trip, so we thought we would swing into Christopher’s Cafe on the last leg home! We had a large family (11 total) and they fit us in with very little wait time! Our waitress was amazing, and so were each of the individuals we chatted with from the restaurant! We had a lot of different dishes ordered and all family members said it was very good! Not a single complaint! Personable staff and great food! We would stop there again in a heartbeat!

Super yummy breakfast, homemade! Nothing beats it! Even my 6 year old ate everything on her plate! The staff was warm and friendly and interacted beautifully with my daughter who brought in her pretend service dog lol we plan to come back again! 100/10

Stopped by for breakfast on the way back from Mackinac Island. Clean, pleasant atmosphere. Polite and friendly service and fabulous food! I ordered the Homemade Hash breakfast with Cinnamon Toast(pictured below) and coffee. Don’t miss Christopher’s Cafe, it’s a winner!
