This restaurant is pretty great. My dad and I stopped there on our way to the UP and had some breakfast. We enjoyed the atmosphere, the staff was great, and the food was served much faster than anticipated. It all tasted delicious! I'll certainly be making my way back here, again.

My lasagna was cold, I ate it because I was hungry so I didn’t say anything. My stomach was turning and had diarrhea as soon I got back to the cabin. I recommend Jake’s River Edge Restaurant at least I don’t get food poisoning there.

This restaurant seems not only popular for the local residents, put patrons in several cities and counties away. I'm from southwest Detroit region, and I thoroughly enjoyed my visit at Christopher's Cafe. The feeling I received walking into the place was that like Luke's dinner (coffee shop) from the Gilmore Girls series on T.V. Truly there are such places with strong communities. As a Michigander, I hope you get the opportunity to visit there soon. Enjoy!

Wonderful! Great Place to have breakfast or lunch. A real gem of a business. We look forward to going here when visiting the Indian River area. It's very popular. It has RV parking in the back. Food and services is always very good.
