I am in Indian River every summer to visit family, and Northland is a must-visit. I absolutely LOVE it there. The people are so great, the outdoor space is fantastic, and the options are incredible. It’s the only place I’ve ever been where you can choose your own flavor seltzer! It’s also kid-friendly! I wish we had our own Northland Brewing in the South!
Greay outdoor area with food trucks. In the summer live music on the weekends. Dog and kid friendly.
Fantastic space and super friendly service! Smaller selection on draft with 3 IPAs. Mexican Lager was my favorite and they have a Coffee Stout that had interesting flavor profile that will appeal to many. We had 3 food trucks on property on a SAT afternoon.

Northland Brewing Co. is a great find in Northern Michigan, offering relaxing outdoor seating and on-site food trucks to satisfy your cravings. Their taproom features a nice selection of crafted beers, including a fantastic ESB and dark ale, making it a great spot for an afternoon or evening visit. The brewery has a cozy vibe in winter with board games and a huge TV, while summer brings live music, plenty of tables and benches, and a great hometown gathering spot feel. With a welcoming atmosphere, excellent beers, and a fantastic Harvest Host spot nestled in the trees, it's a must-visit destination in Indian River. Be sure to try their Mexican Cousin Cerveza with La Casa de Rosas' stellar tacos!
