$11 for a hotdogs? Seriously?
Service: 4
Great gourmet hot dogs served in a small food truck down the main street drag in Indian River. These are not your regular hot dogs and what makes them extra special are the toasted buns. Food truck is set up alongside a few others and a small craft brewery. Many weekend evenings also feature live music.

Great lunch spot! Loved the coney dogs and the buns really are the best! Lots of picnic tables and space for our 2 dogs to enjoy the shade.

I got the works taco with the hot sauce. It was amazing. Very fast and super tasty!!!
I had the Hawaiian which is a turkey dog. They serve Faygo --had lots of flavors of soda. Friendly staff.
We stopped at Cheboygan on our way up to and on way back from Marquette. Tuesday mid afternoon, lots of restaurants closed. Pig and Whistle (candy and gift shop) down a few doors said they were open and their food was good. Yes it was. Great, friendly staff. Several different hot dogs, including Chicago, Detroit, Sour (sauerkraut & mustard) and others. Dogs run about $6+, and meals just under $10. Soups I think were about $4. Meals come with bev plus choice of mac N cheese, baked beans, potato salad or coleslaw. We had baked beans (sweet, enjoyable), mac N cheese (white cheddar & shells, my mom said great) and potato salad (husband enjoyed. The business is dog themed. Meals are served in a metal dog dish. They sell stickers with proceeds to local Humane Society, along with part of each meal. Buns are toasted, sliced at top and sit flat at the bottom... convenient and taste good. Very glad we found this place.... good meal for on the way home.
It won't let me include the photo I took of the delicious Detroit dog I had from rustyz today. But let me tell you they present themselves well! I've never seen a bun like they use but the sides are toasted and it just lends a beautiful note to it. The coney sauce is 100% on point. Quite possibly home made but I did not ask. Delicious either way. The chips they use are well seasoned and super crispy. Kettle style. The place is clean , and the employees are great. Overall it's a great atmosphere and now one of my favorite places to go. Can't wait to try my next Rustyz dog
Great selection of hotdog options. We tried the Chicago Dog & Buddy Brat. Although very tasty, the dogs/brats were a little small for the price. But we didn’t mind since a portion of their sales go to the local animal shelter! You can by a sticker for $1 which goes to the shelter too. You can bring your dog inside & buy them a Doggy Bagz. Check out the art work on the walls.
