This place should be amazing, the food is fine, the people are nice, but they are the consistently slowest restaurant I may have ever frequented. Talking 30 to 45 minutes to get your order, when the restaurant isn't even busy. Literally ordered a sausage egg and cheese sandwich for myself and a pancake for my kid last time. Every 15 minutes I checked on my order. The last time she found it sitting on the shelf. The food wasn't hot. This wasn't a one-off.

Pretty nice. Rustic. Very nice atmosphere. Helpful and friendly staff. Nice patio. Looks like they have a drive thru, but maybe it's just a drive thru pickup, not sure.

Cute, clean rustic outdoorsy coffee/sandwich/sweet shop. Very friendly staff, good breakfasts and coffee. The Hershey chocolate cake was so good as was the Apple Pie Slab. The cashier warmed it up for me when I asked. They also have a nice outdoor eating area.

Bud’s is such an Interlochen staple — don’t know what I would do without it. Was a great spot to meet during summer camp and it’s such a large space that it never feels too crowded. Luckily it’s super close to campus and you can walk there!
Before I start my rough review, I’d like to mention the vibe is awesome. It’s a cute coffee house, Cracker Barrel vibe with a fireplace. The food was almost worth going back for because it was absolutely delicious. However, we waited 40 minutes for a breakfast wrap and panini and were NEVER told it would be a wait period, let alone almost an entire hour. The cashiers had a hard time understanding our order and using the register. We finally approached the counter to figure out what was going on and were then told it would be another 10-15 minutes because the kitchen was backed up. No one ever notified customers. While the young man in the kitchen struggled (there were maybe 7 other customers in the restaurant mind you), there were about 7 other employees in the front of the house chatting at the register not assisting the young man in the kitchen or notifying customers it would be a very long wait. When I expressed my concern and asked for a refund, the older gentleman stated, “we need another refund.” Apparently they’d had more than one that morning. Just unfortunate. Review from a cook and bartender of many years. Good food. Unaware staff. Long wait time. If you’ve got all day to hang around, this might be your spot. 🙄

Went here a few days in a row when I went camping the food was good just got pancakes and bacon so not much to judge, the place was super cool and well built, but every day I went it ethier took an 45min to an hour for a coffee and pancakes and or they forgot my coffee or side of bacon.
