Hofbrau Steak House & American Grille

We ordered two steaks,medium rare, and they were both well done. We informed the waitress and she did apologize, but nothing was done to help correct the situation. We ordered the ribeye and paid good money to have our steak extremely overcooked.

Best Sirloin steak I have had since father in laws Black Angus hand feed cattle. Great beer selection too! Excellent 5.0 +++

Took 1 hour 20 minutes to seat a party of nine. What the heck? Adam our server did a fantastic job of serving and dealing with us. Thank you Adam.

I was surprised how the menu and business had changed. 15 years ago, it had been a local watering hole, great beer and a burger joint. But the offerings today are broad and delicious. It was busy this evening as there was a concert crowd having dinner before the show. But management had anticipated, and had an ample staff to handle the heavy influx of customers.
The food and service were great. We will return to try their other menu items!!!👍

Just about the only real restaurant in town, but luckily it's pretty good! The beer selection was vast, only complaint was that I had an expectation of some true German selections, but didn't really see them on the draft list.

Food was good, a little pricey. I suggest an outside table anytime weather permits, the decor inside is a bit stuffy and the layout feels choppy.

Couldn't do 5 stars because on a weekend that they should have expected to be very busy, they were shorthanded and getting a table was mass chaos even though plenty of tables were open.

Great food, but 2nd year in a row while visiting Interlochen, wait for table was fine but both this year and last, food took an hour or more from being seated to being served. Either not enough staff or kitchen isn't being managed properly. Place is always busy, but that means you need to keep the food flowing out of the kitchen. Not sure what the issue is, staff or work flow, but will be the last time we take a chance while in Interlochen.

Web site sucks can not find a menu

The food was fantastic! And my server Sarah was amazing! But the bartender Julie was the rudest person I’ve ever seen… not to me, but to her coworkers. It was awful. She was patronizing my server every chance she got. It took everything not to say something to her. I finally had to call my waitress over and tell her that the bartender was so rude that customers are noticing… I hope she doesn’t work here much longer…

We had a great meal here! The stuffed mushrooms were the size of baseballs and soooo good. The rest of our meal was delicious as well. You will definitely get generous portions for good food at a fair price here. There service and atmosphere were great as well. We will definitely be back for round TWO! 😊

We have been going there every time we visit family in Interlochen... Every year we hope it will get back to the quality it was years ago... This year may be the last time we go.. it is disappointing and sad..
