Great ice cream place, don’t trust reviews from people who can’t spell. I’m lactose intolerant and would put myself through hell for a single scoop from Cook’s!
Family owned and such a beautiful environment. Lively, kind, wonderful staff. In a world full of hate, this place is the sweet spot we need in a small town to feel like a kid again.
The attention and nod to past Ionia is absolutely unique. The Cook family is a family with ethics and it is definitely seen in how the ladies work and keep their business going.

Such a gem in up-and-coming downtown Ionia! I don’t get a chance to go often, but when I do it’s such a pleasure to get a sweet treat and enjoy the people watching and ambiance. The owners are so thoughtful and kind, so on top of getting delicious ice cream, you get great customer service. I cannot recommend Cook & Co. enough!
