We each got the hot beef pasty and then a ham and cheese pasty to split - all delicious, would definitely get again! We went through the drive thru, had very friendly service.

On my way to Calumet, MI I always stop at Dobbers to pick up pasties. It has been a few years so I was very surprised to see how much the price has risen. The pasties are now $8.10. The size is smaller, and the crust surrounding the pasties was very thick, thicker than I remember. Despite the price, they tasted good. They are still my favorite pastie. However, when I stopped to pickup some on my way back to Wisconsin, the one that I ate in the car had a burned bottom. I have been stopping at Dobbers for over thirty years and will continue to stop at Dobbers, unless the price becomes too high and the pasties too small. In defense of the price, I have told myself that a fastfood meal would be as expensive or more expensive and the pasty is probably more healthy. Overall, I would recommend stopping at Dobbers for a pasty.

Well this is like the McDonald's of pasties. It meets basic requirements to be called a pastie.
Now after trying most of the pasties in this area i just can't say this would be a place I would go to at all when there are much better examples of a pastie nearby. I can think of two places that are much better within 5 minutes. (Prime pastie King and Jean Kay's)
The filling just so plain and sorta dry. The crust is basic as can be flavor wise.
The best thing about Dobbers is it's hours and they actually follow the hours they post.
So when everyone else is closed then yeah come to Dobber's. It will hit that pastie spot but there are far superior pasties in the area.

We came and got a beef pastie, the crust was wrapped in foil, which makes it soggy. Fyi! And all I could taste was pepper, and my friend got a breakfast one and he said the same thing, wow is this peppery.

Went to dobbers because we wanted to try some pasties again(tried one time and loved them) these pasties were the most driest disgusting thing I've EVER tried(even if its only been twice). Do not recommend. Best thing we had was the bottled drinks lol
We left and went to taco bell!

My dog won’t eat a Dobbers pasty and he eats his own poop.
The “resturant” is old, delapitated and full of mold. I could smell it at the drive through window as I was getting my pasty. The man working there said the freezers have stopped several times and the employees are forced to heat and reheat pasty’s several times before they are thrown out. I will never suggest a Dobbers pasty to anyone. There are SO many more GOOD pasty places.
