“Luck of the draw. Just leaving the UP to head back to Wisco and searched for area restaurants. The rating is legit. Food was fresh and done very well. We had the Cuban and bourbon bacon cheese burger. Both were excellent. With only one on staff in the bar and one in the kitchen, food still came out fast and service was great. Definitely will return when back in the area.”
“This is like the A&W's of long ago. It's always busy and with good reason. Great food at great prices and the A&W is made fresh daily. My grandson couldn't believe how different it was than what he has had his entire life. If you are close to this place and used to love it as a kid, go. Highest recommendation to just go try it. You will not be disappointed.”

“Pizza was ok, It might be me but it tastes different than it did before they moved. But it was still good. Just not as good, although everything else stays great.”
“Cozy atmosphere and great food. French Onion soup was a great choice. Our waiter was well informed about the menu and was able to provide options to help respect our dietary needs. I would have no problem recommending this restaurant. Many good sandwich choices on the menu. We have been there many times, will continue to eat there on a regular basis.”
“Fantastic 16 inch thin crust with mushroom, onion, green pepper & w/o cheese. Yes, was the best I've had in many years since a child/ young adult in Chicago. Highly reccomend! Price was $20 & will order again, for certain! The workers were friendly, helpful, & timely with my order before closing.?Also, had the full rack ribs twice before, YUMMY, loved them! Da' Best!”
“Great customer service! Great flavors! Smoothies are super yummy & healthy. Muffins & sweet breads are tasty, moist & just sweet enough. Gluten free pizza is excellent!! Recommend highly!”
“Love the burrata and wine options. Main reason I come back.I’ve ordered the steak every time. I would recommend ordering a different dish. Just is what it is. I come for the burrata, wine and atmosphere.”
“From early morning until afternoon closing, this is a great place for coffee and treats... or a soup and salad lunch... while sitting and chatting with friends or business associates.”
“Everything from the food to the service was absolutely fantastic. The owner was walking around checking on tables as well, just a very family friendly feel. Would definitely come back!!”
“I moved here from Pittsburgh, PA which was choc full of thai restaurants. I was so excited to find a Thai place with amazing, authentic, high quality food in Iron Mountain. My favorite place to eat by far.Dietary restrictions: My mom is gluten free dairy free and it is great to have a place where she has so many optionsKid-friendliness: I have been bringing my kids to eat here regularly and each time is a positive experience.”
“We really enjoyed this taproom! There is a lounge with live music and wine room attached, but wasn't open when we visited in the afternoon. The beer menu was on a white board just inside the door with many local brews available. Our server was exceptional! Besides being attentive, friendly and on the spot, she was familiar with the beers and breweries. We enjoyed an icy cold beer and good conversation.”
“Fantastic food in a really cool place, right in downtown Iron Mountain. Extremely busy when I went, but still got my food quickly. Servers were great and the food was phenomenal!”
“Came in to town for the weekend from SW Michigan. Food was excellent and the owner Mark was a great host. The stuffed cheese bread is ?. Highly recommend eating here!”
“I stumbled upon this place walking through town. My grandparents grew up in Iron Mountain. My great grandfather, John Hollander, immigrated from Liverpool, England and was a miner. My grandmother taught me to make pasties like she did for her dad. Jean Kay's pasties are out of this world. Flakey crusts, tasty ingredients inside, and made with Iron Mountain pride and love. I ate the breakfast bacon and egg pasty and bought chicken and broccoli. I bought the partially cooked/frozen because this place sells out quickly. I traveled to Chicago with the pasties two weeks later and they were as good as made that day. One pastie fed two of us. I guess it is all about your appetite. The pasties can be purchased cooked or partially frozen. Both are equally great!! If you are driving near Iron Mountain, you must stop and purchase the pasties! Have fun deciding which to purchase.”
