“Love this place! I wasn't planning to rate it because I really didn't want to let other people know about it. But when I accidentally rated it one star I knew I had to rectify it. Shhh!”
“Always get one of the burgers on the menu when passing thru. Haven't left they're yet and not been full after enjoying it. Costs are comparable places. Service has always been good.Parking: About 15-20 spotsWheelchair accessibility: Ramp available if needed”
“Nice bar tucked back in the northwoods. Always clean, friendly owners and staff. Great views to catch a beautiful sunset across the field on the big covered deck! Really nice un-covered deck off the back also.”
“The staff (and owner) are super friendly. Great food. I love the burgers and my husband loves the pizza. The pretzel bites and beer dip is awesome. The building is a beautiful new log cabin feel. The bathrooms are nice and clean. This has become one of our favorite stops. I love the feiendly and chill atmosphere.”
“OMG! Hello Diamond in the rough. Who would of thought such a gem existed! I'm in love! Best Sunday brunch buffet I've ever had! I can't recommend this enough times!!! Can't wait to come again.Wheelchair accessibility: There is wheel chair access”
“Great place for food or a drink or both. Usually go here for lunch. They used to have these pepper jack nuggets that were the best thing ever but they no longer have them. Hugely disappointing.”
“Service was excellent. I had the Combination Platter, filled with their Italian samples. They were all well-prepared with a flavorful Marinara sauce. Others in our party had the 6oz tenderloin and said it was delicious and prepared to their liking. We’ll be back.”
“I stumbled upon this place walking through town. My grandparents grew up in Iron Mountain. My great grandfather, John Hollander, immigrated from Liverpool, England and was a miner. My grandmother taught me to make pasties like she did for her dad. Jean Kay's pasties are out of this world. Flakey crusts, tasty ingredients inside, and made with Iron Mountain pride and love. I ate the breakfast bacon and egg pasty and bought chicken and broccoli. I bought the partially cooked/frozen because this place sells out quickly. I traveled to Chicago with the pasties two weeks later and they were as good as made that day. One pastie fed two of us. I guess it is all about your appetite. The pasties can be purchased cooked or partially frozen. Both are equally great!! If you are driving near Iron Mountain, you must stop and purchase the pasties! Have fun deciding which to purchase.”
“I wanted to give an updated review. My friend and me stopped in Saturday morning and the girls were amazing. They were very polite! Thank you for posting that review in your shop. They were super sweet and caring.I will be definitely recommending Edelweiss coffee when anyone wants a good drink with great service.Thank you*************Love going to this coffee shop. I have been going for years their food and drinks are very good. But the last couple weeks the girls have been very rude. I don't think I could have gotten more eye rolls and "are you done" this morning for ordering two drinks and two scones. I don't know what's going on but some of those girls need an attitude adjustment.I will change my review to better stars if the next time they are professional and just do their job otherwise I will go somewhere else.”
“I can’t say enough about Dulce Nulla!!!!!! They’ve long been my go to for peanut allergy friendly treats.Mellisa did mini-desserts for our organizations event, and they were amazing! She's so kind, personable, and knowledgeable. Thank you so much!!!! Such a gem in the community.”
“Luck of the draw. Just leaving the UP to head back to Wisco and searched for area restaurants. The rating is legit. Food was fresh and done very well. We had the Cuban and bourbon bacon cheese burger. Both were excellent. With only one on staff in the bar and one in the kitchen, food still came out fast and service was great. Definitely will return when back in the area.”
“Ok so I was torn between a 4 or 5 but had to end with a 5 over all the food was great!Service quick and nice!Ambiance relaxed and place was full!Cleanliness is spot on too.I do recommend this place! Also the place is rustic/contemporary design!”
“We used Millie’s market to cater our wedding reception and they truly delivered! Their food is elegant, beautiful and absolutely delicious.. our guests were telling us all night how impressed they were with the food. The charcuterie table was also to die for and a crowd favorite. They were seamless to work with and went above and beyond to meet all of our wants and wishes. Could not recommend them enough!”
“The undisputed King of old school thin crust Italian pizza. I have enjoyed this pizza place since the early 70’s when they were on the North Side just down from Schinderles Grocery and across from Green-leaf Bar. We drive over a thousand miles to eat the best pizza possible and it is our first stop upon arriving to the twin city area. Pizza Oven is a food landmark for Dickinson county and the whole of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.Kid-friendliness: Play area for kidsWheelchair accessibility: Push it on in.”
“This is like the A&W's of long ago. It's always busy and with good reason. Great food at great prices and the A&W is made fresh daily. My grandson couldn't believe how different it was than what he has had his entire life. If you are close to this place and used to love it as a kid, go. Highest recommendation to just go try it. You will not be disappointed.”
“Pizza was ok, It might be me but it tastes different than it did before they moved. But it was still good. Just not as good, although everything else stays great.”
“This is my favorite restaurant in iron mountain great place me and my friend went out here for lunch together food hot and fresh server she was a sweet lady kind friendly and on top of everything we needed the tip i left her she definitely deserved ”
“GREAT food !!!!!! GREAT service !!!! It really is too bad the bowling is No longer open This place is a gem if you're ever in area this is a must Stop Mike give Pam a raise !!!!!!! We will be back”
“Parking is good. Adequate dining area and bar. We were seated promptly and our waitress, Lana, was friendly, outgoing and attentive. We ordered cheese burgers and fries, onion rings and mozzarella sticks. The onion rings are battered and not breaded which is my preference. They were cooked perfectly, not greasy and golden. The mozzarella sticks were cooked well meaning not overcooked where the cheese is coming out. Clean oil. The burger was juicy, not greasy, on a perfectly toasted kaiser roll. The French fries were cooked perfectly. I'd recommend for casual dining.”
“Cozy atmosphere and great food. French Onion soup was a great choice. Our waiter was well informed about the menu and was able to provide options to help respect our dietary needs. I would have no problem recommending this restaurant. Many good sandwich choices on the menu. We have been there many times, will continue to eat there on a regular basis.”
“Fantastic 16 inch thin crust with mushroom, onion, green pepper & w/o cheese. Yes, was the best I've had in many years since a child/ young adult in Chicago. Highly reccomend! Price was $20 & will order again, for certain! The workers were friendly, helpful, & timely with my order before closing.?Also, had the full rack ribs twice before, YUMMY, loved them! Da' Best!”
“Great customer service! Great flavors! Smoothies are super yummy & healthy. Muffins & sweet breads are tasty, moist & just sweet enough. Gluten free pizza is excellent!! Recommend highly!”
“After driving by far too many times to count on my way up north, I finally had a chance to stop in! Spending the weekend in the area for girls' weekends, it was the perfect stop to refuel on a day of hiking in the area.Excellent food and service! Our waitress was excellent and the coffee cups stayed full!”
“Update to my previous post. Moved to Iron Mountain and this is my go to spot! Deliciously crafted coffee drinks, reasonably priced, and the staff is friendly. I was accusing to paying $10 for my coffee, so the prices on this quality of coffee & service is fantastic!_____________________________7 years ago...I am visiting from Phoenix and was dying for a good frou frou espresso coffee in Iron Mountain. This place hit the spot. The gal at the window seemed to be a little slow at understanding our order but the end product was correct and delicious. Would go back & would recommend to those visiting from a larger city with a craving.”
“Our son's birthday cake was AMAZING! You listened to what we were asking for and nailed it! I had multiple guests asking where we got it. I highly recommend her for your next event.”
“Love the burrata and wine options. Main reason I come back.I’ve ordered the steak every time. I would recommend ordering a different dish. Just is what it is. I come for the burrata, wine and atmosphere.”
“Low prices, warm and welcoming. Enjoyed the burgers, deep-fried mushrooms, and pickle spears. The fountain soda was nice and carbonated, which is a huge plus for me.”
“From early morning until afternoon closing, this is a great place for coffee and treats... or a soup and salad lunch... while sitting and chatting with friends or business associates.”
“The food here is really really good. They don't take reservations and wait times for a table can be long but only because they're so popular. Last time I ate here there was literally a line of people waiting for them to open for diner and a full parking lot. There are several bars inside to sit at though while waiting to get a table and they take your order in advance. Very cozy intimate dining area. The ravioli are fantastic.”
