“I popped by with my girlfriend yesterday afternoon, and the beef pasties were delicious! Since dine-in was closed and we were on a road trip, we ate in the car, but the pasties held together without a mess! The owner (I assume) mentioned he'd been making pasties here for over 30 years! He was very friendly, and the price ($7) was very reasonable!”
“It was our first time there. We asked what they recommend and it was their hot beef sandwich, which it turns out they're known for. We added the suggested toppings of cheese and onion, then added the sweet horseradish sauce and BOOM!, my tastebuds were dancing! I heard that the next thing to have is their tacos on Tuesdays. I'm scheduling it now.”
“I visit Michigan every month and Henry's Steakhouse is hands down the best place to eat up there! excellent bartenders excellent food. the owner is absolutely 100% amazing man will do anything for everyone. 5/5 stars! highly recommend the big Tomahawk Steak!”
“This place is awesome!! Best bar in town!! Bob is a hoot and super nice guy!! If I lived here this is where I would hang out. Dive bar feel but squeaky clean! We will be back!!”
“The pizza and beer were awesome but our server was kind of blah and service was slow. I'm not fond of having to leave my seat outside to find out what kind of beer they're serving. Why not print a QR code on the menu instead of the door? I guess it didn't live up to my expectations as it was the first time we'd been there. I'll definitely get pizza to go!”
“This is my favorite place to get a Chinese food takeout. The food is very delicious! Not too salty and always fresh. I've never had any stomach-related problems after eating there. Stuffed mushrooms are my favorite. The ladies who work there are always so friendly.”
“My family got here within 5 minutes of them closing. We got our kids out of our van and then read the sign on the hours on the door. A girl waved us in. ? She gave me the receipt saying I could take their survey for a free dilly bar, which I will do! She said her name was Lexi. Thanks for the great service. We will definitely come again!”
“We ordered online and the person who made the subs didn't follow the instructions to leave the ranch off and put the veggies on the side. Heather fixed it and was really nice. Thanks so much for fixing our order.”
“They were 15 minutes into the lunch rush and our order was taken almost immediately. By the time I filled my soda and grabbed a table the order was up. Fast and hot!Parking: Goes around the whole restaurant with two entrances.Kid-friendliness: They have a kid's play area.”
“I stumbled upon this place walking through town. My grandparents grew up in Iron Mountain. My great grandfather, John Hollander, immigrated from Liverpool, England and was a miner. My grandmother taught me to make pasties like she did for her dad. Jean Kay's pasties are out of this world. Flakey crusts, tasty ingredients inside, and made with Iron Mountain pride and love. I ate the breakfast bacon and egg pasty and bought chicken and broccoli. I bought the partially cooked/frozen because this place sells out quickly. I traveled to Chicago with the pasties two weeks later and they were as good as made that day. One pastie fed two of us. I guess it is all about your appetite. The pasties can be purchased cooked or partially frozen. Both are equally great!! If you are driving near Iron Mountain, you must stop and purchase the pasties! Have fun deciding which to purchase.”
“I wanted to give an updated review. My friend and me stopped in Saturday morning and the girls were amazing. They were very polite! Thank you for posting that review in your shop. They were super sweet and caring.I will be definitely recommending Edelweiss coffee when anyone wants a good drink with great service.Thank you*************Love going to this coffee shop. I have been going for years their food and drinks are very good. But the last couple weeks the girls have been very rude. I don't think I could have gotten more eye rolls and "are you done" this morning for ordering two drinks and two scones. I don't know what's going on but some of those girls need an attitude adjustment.I will change my review to better stars if the next time they are professional and just do their job otherwise I will go somewhere else.”
“I can’t say enough about Dulce Nulla!!!!!! They’ve long been my go to for peanut allergy friendly treats.Mellisa did mini-desserts for our organizations event, and they were amazing! She's so kind, personable, and knowledgeable. Thank you so much!!!! Such a gem in the community.”
“Luck of the draw. Just leaving the UP to head back to Wisco and searched for area restaurants. The rating is legit. Food was fresh and done very well. We had the Cuban and bourbon bacon cheese burger. Both were excellent. With only one on staff in the bar and one in the kitchen, food still came out fast and service was great. Definitely will return when back in the area.”
“Ok so I was torn between a 4 or 5 but had to end with a 5 over all the food was great!Service quick and nice!Ambiance relaxed and place was full!Cleanliness is spot on too.I do recommend this place! Also the place is rustic/contemporary design!”
“We used Millie’s market to cater our wedding reception and they truly delivered! Their food is elegant, beautiful and absolutely delicious.. our guests were telling us all night how impressed they were with the food. The charcuterie table was also to die for and a crowd favorite. They were seamless to work with and went above and beyond to meet all of our wants and wishes. Could not recommend them enough!”
“This is like the A&W's of long ago. It's always busy and with good reason. Great food at great prices and the A&W is made fresh daily. My grandson couldn't believe how different it was than what he has had his entire life. If you are close to this place and used to love it as a kid, go. Highest recommendation to just go try it. You will not be disappointed.”
“Pizza was ok, It might be me but it tastes different than it did before they moved. But it was still good. Just not as good, although everything else stays great.”
“This is my favorite restaurant in iron mountain great place me and my friend went out here for lunch together food hot and fresh server she was a sweet lady kind friendly and on top of everything we needed the tip i left her she definitely deserved ”
“Parking is good. Adequate dining area and bar. We were seated promptly and our waitress, Lana, was friendly, outgoing and attentive. We ordered cheese burgers and fries, onion rings and mozzarella sticks. The onion rings are battered and not breaded which is my preference. They were cooked perfectly, not greasy and golden. The mozzarella sticks were cooked well meaning not overcooked where the cheese is coming out. Clean oil. The burger was juicy, not greasy, on a perfectly toasted kaiser roll. The French fries were cooked perfectly. I'd recommend for casual dining.”
“Cozy atmosphere and great food. French Onion soup was a great choice. Our waiter was well informed about the menu and was able to provide options to help respect our dietary needs. I would have no problem recommending this restaurant. Many good sandwich choices on the menu. We have been there many times, will continue to eat there on a regular basis.”
“The food here is really really good. They don't take reservations and wait times for a table can be long but only because they're so popular. Last time I ate here there was literally a line of people waiting for them to open for diner and a full parking lot. There are several bars inside to sit at though while waiting to get a table and they take your order in advance. Very cozy intimate dining area. The ravioli are fantastic.”
“Great customer service! Great flavors! Smoothies are super yummy & healthy. Muffins & sweet breads are tasty, moist & just sweet enough. Gluten free pizza is excellent!! Recommend highly!”
“Fantastic 16 inch thin crust with mushroom, onion, green pepper & w/o cheese. Yes, was the best I've had in many years since a child/ young adult in Chicago. Highly reccomend! Price was $20 & will order again, for certain! The workers were friendly, helpful, & timely with my order before closing.?Also, had the full rack ribs twice before, YUMMY, loved them! Da' Best!”
“Our son's birthday cake was AMAZING! You listened to what we were asking for and nailed it! I had multiple guests asking where we got it. I highly recommend her for your next event.”
“Update to my previous post. Moved to Iron Mountain and this is my go to spot! Deliciously crafted coffee drinks, reasonably priced, and the staff is friendly. I was accusing to paying $10 for my coffee, so the prices on this quality of coffee & service is fantastic!_____________________________7 years ago...I am visiting from Phoenix and was dying for a good frou frou espresso coffee in Iron Mountain. This place hit the spot. The gal at the window seemed to be a little slow at understanding our order but the end product was correct and delicious. Would go back & would recommend to those visiting from a larger city with a craving.”
“Love the burrata and wine options. Main reason I come back.I’ve ordered the steak every time. I would recommend ordering a different dish. Just is what it is. I come for the burrata, wine and atmosphere.”
“Low prices, warm and welcoming. Enjoyed the burgers, deep-fried mushrooms, and pickle spears. The fountain soda was nice and carbonated, which is a huge plus for me.”
“From early morning until afternoon closing, this is a great place for coffee and treats... or a soup and salad lunch... while sitting and chatting with friends or business associates.”
“The undisputed King of old school thin crust Italian pizza. I have enjoyed this pizza place since the early 70’s when they were on the North Side just down from Schinderles Grocery and across from Green-leaf Bar. We drive over a thousand miles to eat the best pizza possible and it is our first stop upon arriving to the twin city area. Pizza Oven is a food landmark for Dickinson county and the whole of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.Kid-friendliness: Play area for kidsWheelchair accessibility: Push it on in.”
