Long time favorite of our family! Over the 40 or so years we’ve been coming here, we’ve never had a bad experience. Food is always consistent and wonderful, as well as our service. Very sad to hear of Dwight’s passing, as his conversation and personality were always a bonus. We’ve been back a few times since (driving the 45 miles or so from Caspian), and the food and service hasn’t changed one bit! Great dining experience (as always) gives this our highest recommendation!

I went to Romagnoli’s on NYE for the first time in probably 20 years. It still looks exactly the same. I don’t mean that in a negative way, I liked how it looked then and now. I ordered the cheese ravioli with meatballs, which was always my go to, and they were as delicious as I remember. That being said, the service is not great. Don’t hold your breath trying to get a drink or a refill. This is not the place to go if you’re in a hurry. It wasn’t busy when we got there which was only a little after 5pm and we waited at the bar for a table for close to an hour, we put our order in at the bar. The service wasn’t unfriendly but it wasn’t attentive either. And then when we got to the table we waited about another 40 min or so before our food came. But, we really enjoyed the food! Will I go again? Yes! Would I ever go if I don’t have a couple hours to spare? Nope.

Overall an okay experience, but I would not come back.
The food was alright though the menu either isn’t correct, or it is worded in a confusing way. It states each pasta dinner is served with a salad and loaf of bread. We all thought that meant each dish came with bread. Nope. One bread for the entire group for the whole dinner and served before your food comes out as if it is an appetizer. Extremely disappointing. The bread was served cold as well. I ordered spaghetti which was alright but was made with fettuccine noodles. Unexpected but okay. Wasn’t my taste preference as there was a little spice to it but it wasn’t bad.
Service was okay. Waitresses were rushing around though it was not busy. A bit gruff for my liking but fine overall.
The receipt to pay was like 5 pieces of paper stapled together. Why is there such a need for so much paperwork? Such a waste of paper.
This restaurant has potential to be really great and just a few simple changes could greatly improve the customer's experience. The following are suggestions based on the experience I had today:
-turn the heat on in the bathroom. It was absolutely freezing in there. It felt like it was probably 40-50 degrees.
-turn up the heat in the restaurant. It felt like it was probably 60 degrees at the table.
-fix the bathroom locks on the stalls. There were two stalls and only one had a lock or anyway to keep the door closed
- get the carpet floors that run through the entire restaurant steam cleaned or replaced. These are incredibly stained and look as though they haven’t had a good clean in decades, if ever.
-seriously, just get better knives to cut the bread with. I read so many reviews that mentioned this and it’s absolutely true and such a simple thing can be so frustrating as a customer. Serve the bread warm, too
-buy new water pitchers and cups. They are so stained from probably decades of use that the tops are no longer clear. It’s off putting to look at and feels dirty even if they haven’t been washed.

Food was terrible the pasta was undercooked and the sauce and meatballs were flavorless. The salad I got was already going bad.

Don't get seated until they want you too .
Have to order food in bar area before you get a table.noodles come out hard and rubbery. They don't even ask if you want a drink they bring water to table before you get your table. The bread was the best part of the food but the knife can't cut the bread .salad was nasty tomato wasn't ripe.

The owner, Dwight Romagnoli, is a big bully. Funny how all of these reviews show that there are several replies but when you open them there’s either none or just the one from Dwight. He never offers a discounted meal even though so many people have complained. He needs to be out of the business. I hope it’s true that the restaurant is being sold.
Tried to visit the website to see what the hours were in the menu and it takes me to a gambling site no matter what I click on. Don’t know if that’s intentional or not but it sure is irritating and I will find something to eat somewhere else sucks to be them.

The food was horrible.. read others previous reviews as some of them capture it better than I can... I'll highlight a few lowlights...
The salad came out with the old soggy mushy lettuce.. was afraid to eat it for fear of poisoning!! The chicken in my Alfredo dish was perfectly cubed.. processed chicken.. gross!
Bread served with dull steak knife had to tear bread apart with hands.
Baked pasta dish tasted funky!
After we ate I visited the restroom... (please see attached picture) there are two urinals that clearly have not been cleaned in months! If I would have visited the restroom prior to eating I would have not eaten there.
Will not be back!
Urge others ti steer clear!!

My wife and I were here about a year ago and the elderly man at the bar(who I presumed is the owner) was a little rude but we got food to go and it was great. We stopped in for dinner to go this time and the same man was rude because my wife wanted water at the bar even tho I ordered a cocktail (like he wasn't making any money) and even tho it was quiet when we came in some regular customers came in right after that according to him were more important and he needed to take care of them first. It took 40 min to place our order (no steak allowed) and then he bitched to regular customers right next to us about people coming in on a holiday weekend wanting takeout orders and steak. My wife and have both worked foodservice jobs for many years. All we wanted was a good steak to take to our little rental cabin and enjoy quiet time together. I finally got upset enough that I threw money on the bar for my drink and canceled our order. If your in the area looking for great food go to Henry's Steakhouse instead. Good waitstaff and great food
