An old Big Boy restaurant turned into a local diner. We were passing thru ironwood on a motorcycle trip, having just left Lake of the Clouds and did not have breath so at 2pm we were starved. We both had the meatloaf meal and it was delicious. 2 very large pieces of excellent meatloaf, real mashed potatoes w/an excellent brown gravy over everything and perfectly cooked mixed veggies. Our waitress was a sweetheart. 10/10 we will be back.
Every time we've been in the area and stopped at this restaurant, the food has always been good. The waitresses are friendly and do a great job getting your food served quickly and hot. The prices are very reasonable.
This place did not come highly recommended. However, I enjoyed it. I don't know if I was just extra hungry, but the food was really good. There were only two servers in the whole diner but we didn't wait an outrageously long time and they were very polite. I should also mention we were a group of 7.
