Stopped here on a whim for breakfast and an energy boost while on a Northwoods road trip and it was for sure a fantastic decision. There was a little bit of a wait because of how popular it is and the handful of people behind the counter, but I wouldn't say it was an issue by any means- it's a good sign if a small place like this is as busy as it is!! Coffee is great at all locations, but this location just feels special. It is a great business for downtown Ironwood. It seems they always have people in chatting and smiling inside enjoying the atmosphere. Staff is helpful and pleasant to interact with and seem to enjoy their job. Keeping your staff happy and you will have happy customers! Always a treat to stop in.
Quick shout out. This was the best brewed and iced coffee I’ve had in a very long time. I remember when I used to get just-roasted coffee from Whole Foods back when they used to roast it in front of you. Then they stopped doing that. Also Alterra/Collectivo used to taste this good once. Now they’re OK but not this good. Contrast Coffee has that freshly roasted aroma in every sip. How I miss that in Milwaukee!
