My husband and I were visiting Michigan and decided to stop by this place since it was on our way home. We both got the traditional pasty for $16, and it was DELICIOUS!! It wasn’t dry at all and had great flavor. We’ll definitely be stopping by again the next time we’re in the area!
Its a toss up between Randall's and Joe's. I'd give this place the edge on taste, flavor and they have a chicken cordon bleu pasty whereas Randall's does not offer anything chicken.
This place matches my imagination for a pastie shop. Love it from the simple packaging to the friendly down to earth small town charm. Next time I will eat at the counter instead of devouring a traditional pastie while headed south on Highway 51 to land of no pasties. Thank goodness I was able to pick up some frozen ones for my next road trip.
