This was the cleanest, and best run campground we have been at on this trip. Check in was effortless. Attendant friendly and helpful. They have very nice and well kept amenities including a laundry room. The washrooms, showers and laundry room are open 24 houra a day. The only issue we had was that they don't have a change machine in the laundry room and we didn't have any. ha ge and it was 6:30 AM so the store was not open. We will definitely be back.

If you need a place to stay in town the village has a few varieties of lodging. There's two hotels and a campground. Very convenient if you need to be right in town!

We have been traveling the states hiking the high points, MI was our last for this trip. Its been one day at a time and finding campsites that are open and have availability has not always been easy. Thankfully the Country Village is open until 10pm. What a beautiful campground, the sites are huge, green grass, trees for shade. Our roof top tent weathered the storm amazingly. So happy they put us close to the shower house. Pool, bounce “house”, jacuzzi and a well stocked store. Very happy with our stay

My experience with this place was less than ideal. To begin with, the customer service is subpar. We were told that we had to arrive by 5:30pm. We explained our situation that we get out of work at that time and asked for an extension. Hesitantly the lady said yes but called every five minutes after 5:30 to make sure we were on our way. With a toddler in the car and pulling a 34Ft trailer this was a very ugly experience for us. When we finally arrived we were told she didn’t accept cash only money order only to go back and say cash was fine. It was dark now and Both a lady and an older gentleman were there “helping” us park. The man’s comments were rude and condescending. He kept saying we didn’t know how to park, we were doing it wrong or things like “I don’t know what you’re trying to do” all while trying to reverse and park and handle a crying toddler. The next day we were told children were not allowed. This is not in the contract, this was never mentioned, and when they saw our toddler in the vehicle the night before, where we gave payment they said nothing. There is nothing exceptional about the facilities, no “extras” or even aesthetically pleasing. If you can avoid this place, do.

THIS PLACE IS A RIP OFF!!!!! STAY AWAY!!! i've used this laundromat countless times. every so often the washmachine takes quarters then doesn't wash. i wrote and called the owner but never got a refund once. i'm talking about losing $5 each time that this has happened. i talked to other customers and they have had similar experiences. the owner knows exactly what he's doing. the machine that is exchanges bills for change doesn't always give the correct change either.

huge spots, green grass everywhere. nice playground. big issue with paying. we paid from September 12th to Oct 15th. well our job got shut down and we had to move to Kansas. out of the 900 we paid for over a month, we only received 100 back. for two weeks they charged us 800! rip off!
