The service was horrendous. We had two waitresses, one was great (named Toni, she was amazing and had a great attitude and sense of humor) but the other one whose name we weren’t given was incredibly rude and judgmental. When we asked for an alcoholic drink, we were given a very rude ‘stank’ face by the waitress. The second waitress never came to check on us, fill up our drinks, take our used glasses, etc. Overall, the second waitress just had a horrible attitude and made a bad experience even worse. Outside of the food, the atmosphere was severely lacking. The place was not clean, there were several random people walking around, in and out of the kitchen, people with mop buckets, etc. The food was okay. We got the Belle Notte pizza and the flavor was there, but the pizza was just slightly burnt. The tiramisu was inedible (very strong sugar alcohol flavor) and the cannoli was just alright. It is very sad to see what was such a wonderful restaurant turn into what it is now. We were very disappointed with everything and we definitely expected better, especially considering how amazing the place was years ago.

Great atmosphere, and our server was incredibly attentive and helpful. The food was hit or miss. The pesto was yummy as were the clam chowder and the spinach dip. However all the marinara dishes were too spicy and the eggplant parmigiana was bitter and tough. I think the eggplant was underripe to begin with and then they cut it much too thick and didn’t sweat the rinds off before frying it.

Second time visiting and had a very disappointing experience. Came during a slow period in the late afternoon. Veal was tough and rubbery. Definitely overcooked. Pasta not cooked enough. Al dente is one thing, but when it is tough and chewy, not good at all. Salad and bread very good. Service lack lustre and felt like we were an inconvenience more than anything. First visit for a true dinner during the winter was a much better experience. Reading other reviews, it seems like slow afternoon period is not the best time to go for a meal. May try again for true dinner and try another dish. Had the veal the first time and it was much better that time.

About 6 PM less than five diners in the restaurant; I never got my food. I waited for an hour and a half the way the bartender kept telling me just a few minutes. Just a few minutes my food never came. I had to leave.

My husband and I had dinner here. Business was VERY slow. Our waitress, Toni, was friendly and seemed like she was going to be good. It appeared that we were her only table. She was not very attentive, stood around, and never asked how our food was. The bread, spinach dip, and salad was delicious. I ordered the egg plant Parmesan. COLD, no flavor, and tons of water! She brought us 2 boxes. I didn’t put mine in the box. I thought she would have noticed and asked how everything was. I would have told her it was disgusting (didn’t want to complain but would be honest if asked). Brought us the check still aware that I didn’t box my full plate up.
