“Delicious, exciting, and overall enjoyable. Even when at their busiest and services are truly tested, Klavon's and their employees provided an overall 5 star rating to my group of 7 people that also had kids in the group. My family will be returning.

We both had the ciders and can say without a doubt this location is the coziest hideaway for a drink or two or more. “Overall happy with our experience and food. Made a reservation for Father's Day (party of 4) to try a new place. They got us right in at our reservation time, and we sat for at least 5 minutes at a tiny booth without being greeted by waitstaff. When we asked to be moved from the tiny booth to a 4-top table they were happy to do that and our wait person came immediately and was very good. The restaurant didn't look very busy for a holiday. Our food came out quickly, although the hostess had commented that the kitchen was a bit backed up. My husband enjoyed his local beer and said his BBQ platter was average. My son ordered the Dad Bod burger, and it looked perfectly cooked and he liked it. Our daughter got a wrap, which she liked, and I got the Cobb salad, which was fresh, delicious and big enough that I took some home. At the end we ordered 2 slices ($10 each) of the chocolate cake they display at the hostess stand. This is a good marketing technique because it catches your eye as you arrive. I saw several pieces of the cake being cut. In our opinion, as someone who makes homemade chocolate cake, the cake was just average and overpriced. The atmosphere was uplifting and we could see that they have live music some days. We would probably go again.”

“Very good dining experience, but not great or superb. Yet, the prices represent something more special / memorable. Very expensive for what they present - more expensive than some of the finest steakhouses (which Veritas is not). Not very busy on an evening which should have been more so. I don't envision this establishment surviving much longer unless something changes, especially in this environment and location.”

“Very solid burger. Freshly cooked. Soft bun, fresh ingredients. The tomatoes tasted like farm fresh tomatoes I'm wondering if they get them from a local farm in the summer. The beef was flavorful but not too salty. Good old classic American cheeseburger. No fluff or frills. Staff were all very friendly and prompt getting our order out even while being busy. They take cards now so nothing is stopping you from coming in and enjoying a classic. The atmosphere is a little outdated but I believe that adds to the experience. They aren't trying to be anything they aren't already. I'd recommend this spot to anyone looking for a good burger joint in Jackson .”

“My friend and I were there yesterday, Aug.14th 2023. We didn't even think to look at what time they closed, ( at 3) and we were there well past 3:30. Our server was so nice. She never mentioned their closing time and never made us feel like we should hurry our meals or conversation. She nonchalantly put up the closed sign and did her work to close up for the day. We didn't get her name. Long blonde hair pulled back and she wore glasses. Thank you so much for your kindness. My friend and I were very impressed.”

“You have to try this place if you like ice cream, especially if you enjoy a good old-fashioned malt. This place is AMAZING! I found out about this place a few weeks ago and have been there several times already. The only issue I have had is trying to find a good, legible menu to look at prior to going (and if you have ever been there, you understand. The line can get quite long, but worth the wait.) “We ordered a custom wedding cake for our Daughter and her fiancés wedding out of town. Their communication was amazing and they were able to create a beautiful cake for their special day that was even more amazing than we imagined! They packaged it so we could easily and safely transport it without worries! The only thing that we had to do is add our toppers and it was the most perfect cake - we would highly recommend them! ❤️ The beauty mirrored the taste as well!!! “For a coney island and over the past 35 years I've visited my fair share of C.I's this place felt clean. Air quality was great. No greasy smell in the air. Staff was dressed appropriate. No saggy pants, no untucked shirts.”

“This is the best ice cream anywhere. And I even am comparing it to other Dairy Queen's. They serve the ice cream at the correct temperature. A lot of places don't know how to keep track of the temperature that the ice cream should be. Always so creamy. Some ice cream is too cold believe it or not.”

“If you need a junk food fix with large portions and a good price, this is the place for you. They make amazing pork fried rice and General Tso’s Chicken. The only downside is the environment isn’t very inviting. The area is rough and not the safest to travel alone at night. I understand they’re a fast service but they could at least make the place welcoming and comfortable.”

“I love going here. The atmosphere is fun and energizing, and the service is ALWAYS above par.I always get the fish plate. It's pollock, not as good as Cod, but it's still delicious. However, the last time I went, it just didn't taste the same. And it was all in the batter. I don't know, like the grease was old?? It was a little bit chewey.And I didn't replace it because I didn't think it would make any difference.But I'll still eat here because the atmosphere and service are so phenomenal.”

“Aunt Millies Bread Store is a great place to buy fresh bread and other items. We buy old dated bread for birds, Geese, deer, and other foul. Cheap for Quantity and a real bargain for fresh bread. We Love this place,and you need to at least visit, if you like different types of breads. This location has it all. You will find what you like, without having to search everywhere else.”

“I have enjoyed take out from this location three times and my meal choice was served freshly cooked hot each time and I love their steamed rice! I couldn't quite 5star them only because the meal comes with a salad full of Iceberg lettuce. I like the idea of a green vegetable with the meal. Miso soup is also a part of my selection and again, always served HOT! There has not been one bite that I didn't enjoy. I will return to this restaurant and will upgrade the rating if green leafy vegetables are added to the salad. I choose the Katsu (or Katzu) Don FOR the soup and salad.

So far, AKA Sushi is one of the better choices for dining in this city.”

“I took the time to read the reviews before my visit and I feel they have been very unfairly and harshly criticized. I made it to the drive thru at 7:53 p.m. with 2 cars ahead of me however I didn't get to the service window until 8:02p.m. as I drive up I clearly hear them yell food service has ended. I joked that I was just reading the reviews and they meant business with an end time of 8:00p.m. so I would skip my request for a walking taco. I still got an amazing slushy and a parfait and that walking taco too! This place is clearly a very popular busy location and after a long day they still have to clean up before they can go home. Close is 8:00! Be gracious if they continue to serve any time past 8:00p.m. Thank you to the staff keep up the good work and we will definitely see you next time we visit Jackson!”

“From the get go this is one of my favorite Jimmy John's. The staff are pleasant and quick, and the food is always neatly made (frequent complaint with other JJ locations).

We got jokes from Joseph after ordering and waiting (briefly) for the sandwich and wraps.

I hope they keep the firecracker wrap as that's a great flavor combo, but I'll always have my Country Club as a standard fare option.”
