“My wife introduced me to "Frosty King" when we were dating. I loved it! Since then they've changed owners and names a couple times (and a location) and I think they've definitely kept the magic alive. I really like the food options and specials they have. Prices have gone up, but where haven't they... I'm definitely still a fan!”

“Menu has changed since the last time I was there, they didn't ask what kind of cheese I wanted. They just went by what the menu says that the sandwich comes with. I know now that if I want something different that I need to inform them before they start making the sandwich. Also, I couldn't see them making the sandwich because of the way the setup is. Again, now I know.Total bill was about $14 for one foot long, no chips, no drinks.”

“Stopped on the way home from a graduation ceremony. I don't normally get over that way, but when I do I will be stopping there.Ice cream was good and prices were reasonable for the market. The flurries had a lot of toppings also.Great little local place off the beaten track, but worth the trip.”

“These are the best donuts I've ever had. They are a Jackson, Michigan staple and were voted #1 donuts in the state of Michigan. You can't go wrong with any of the flavors, but I am partial to the cream-filled long johns with the chocolate frosting, and the apple-filled with the cinnamon frosting. They are so dang good!”

“Not impressed with the pizza , the kids didn't even like it . I felt like I didn't have to worry about my kids running out the door, four kids under 8 yrs old ( mom relief for safety) open space to see all play areas and the door by the entrance was a half door buzz in so totally a plus , and all my kids loved playing there they didn't want to leave. They have dress up village areas, climbing obstacles, tea cup spinning chairs, my oldest two kids called it the best day ever. So this mom was pleased ?.”

“Stopped for an early dinner on a Friday. Service was fantastic--hospitable and attentive.Our food was very good. But having eaten a lot of excellent Guatemalan food, this was a little different. I guess there are a variety of styles even in smaller countries.The dining room is festive with bright colors and attractive murals. It would be nice to feature some Guatemalan music. It seemed a little eerie listening only to compressors running.”

“First time having breakfast. Blueberry pancakes with patty sausage. Everything was perfect. The patty sausage was the best I've ever had. Services is great. Very friendly.”

“The food at Flavorz is really, really good. We often check for their daily specials, which are some off-the-wall creations, but are always so tasty. The portions are huge! My wife and I easily spilt a meal, and still have leftovers. Worth the money they charge, which is understandable with rising food costs and inflation the way it is. The employees are always so friendly. They ask how my wife and kids are doing everytime I walk in, and they only met them the one time they came in. In a town with some really amazing restaurant choices, Flavorz is up there with the other heavy hitters in Jackson.”

“This is the only coffee shop that I buy coffee from. Fantastic mocha, wonderful bagels, and phenomenal gelato. Good people, they care a lot about the community and their staff.”

“I was looking for a different version of a frappe and one day when I came in after an appointment I happened to notice the Reese's frappe and I immediately feel in love in with it and have been ordering it ever sinc, sometimes with an extra shot of espresso when I really need the caffeine.”

“It had been a while since I had been here and decided to pick up a cheeseburger and fries on the way home. The cheeseburger was just as I remembered them. The bag that the fries were in was very wet. I had to dry the fries out in the oven. I thought it was grease at first, but nope. So, 4 stars because the cheeseburger was great.”

“Ichiban has always been one of my favorite places to eat at in Jackson. They offer a large array of Japanese food and you can even sit with your friends around a hibachi grill and watch the chefs cook your food right in front of you.Pro Tip: If you eat here ask to be served by Maddie! She is a very knowledgeable and attentive server who always does an amazing job every time my friends and I come in to eat. My friends say she also makes great drinks!”

“First time using this location for a quick meeting. Had a Chai Latte. There is not a lot of space inside, but the space they do have is cozy and well utilized. I would definitely go again; however, would try a different drink as the chai latte just seemed a bit weak. I probably just need to ask for it to be stronger....might just be my own ignorance.”

“There was an acoustic guitar playing musician. We were sat right away by a wonderful and very professional host. At first, he seated us close to the entertainment, but realized we wanted to be able to talk amoungst ourselves. So he sat us in a great spot for us to be able to do just that. We were approached and served quickly! Chad is a wonderful waiter! Great customer service here still exists! It's hard to find now a days, but here, it still exists! Chad was very helpful about the menu and drinks. I got the bourbon salmon and I'm going to tell you, I heard angels singing! ?. That's how good it was! ?. I definitely suggest for everyone to try this place and the salmon!!”

Great selection of breakfast items plus specials and not too overwhelming of a menu. Very reasonable prices and great portion size. My family loves the on the house soup they serve you as soon as you’re seated. I will be back!”

“Good food, great people and a special thanks to Cali G. Our server who helped and accommodated us wonderfully as my nephew was getting sick during dinner. She provided bags, rags, and napkins while he was throwing up. All the while she still served good food and a good attitude through the experience.10/10 server and she deserves a raise!”
