“Where to start with this little place. The hometown diner atmosphere, the smiling face when you walk in the door, the friendly service and absolutely great home cooked style meals? This little place is simply overall amazing. A very hard working Family owned diner. Once again the food is like I'd prepare for my own family (I've been a Chef for 40 yrs) and just like my table you better come with an appetite! You get all that you pay for and then some and in today's economy that's really saying something. I highly recommend stopping in this place and giving them the support they deserve if you're in their neck of the woods.BTW my wife had Southwest Hash with Cinnamon Raisin Toast and I had a full order of biscuits and gravy with a couple of over medium eggs on top. Delicious!! And don't mind all the hot sauce we like our food spicy!”

We were here today for the first time and Jenny A was our server.She was so kind, sweet, helpful and had a good sense of humor and was just overall an amazing person to have (wish I could have had dinner with her as well lol)The food was delicious! Tried the battered cod dinner (havent had fried fish in years)? ( and im sorry i couldnt finish it all )My husband had the seared Ahi Tuna and the California roll.The virgin pineapple margarita? was delicious too, just too stuffed to make it down the hatch.Thank you for giving me and my husband a wonderful dinner.”

“We eat at Shortys once a week. We love the specials (great smoked wings, smoke ribeye hoagie and lasagna just to name a few), excellent pizza and sandwiches. Service is speedy and friendly every time. It can be loud sometimes if it’s a full house but then other times is a quiet atmosphere.”

“Visited during A Taste Of The Irish. Had enjoyed mini versions of their treats and picked up some coffee, candles, and a small bit of ice cream. The flavors were unique and pleasant. Specifically, the frosting was fluffy, mellow, and fruity. As one might expect, the ice cream oh so very creamy and packed with goodies! I am satisfied with the aroma of the candles (buring warm cinnamon roll as I type). It's a soft scented cinnamnon, noticeable across the foyer. Their coffee is very smooth and enjoyable! Just beware it is whole bean. Their guest area has a variety of couches and chairs to make a homely impression. There is also a separate cubby to lay back in if not occupied. Books are provided if you find yourself finished with your snacks but don't quite have the urge to leave. Would recommend for a visit to see how it suits your own tastes.”

“Offers most of the standard pub food. Had a crunchy chicken wrap, which was really good. Menu is not too big and offers a variety. They offers specials daily and decent selection of beers and a full bar. Some TV's inside so a fine place to catch a game.”

“Worked here for a minute. It's a pretty clean place and food is fresh. Id say the only negative that can be said is customer service. The older ladies there can be quite negative to people. One will bluntly be rude to people and the other had made a man wait between 40-60 minutes for a sandwich because the machine was down. The man wanted to leave but she told him he cannot. After calling the owner the situation was sorted out making the man still pay for his sub even though it was an issue on our end. He pointed at me before going to his vehicle of wife and kids saying make sure people hear about this. So here I am.”

“Been coming here for about a yr. Excellent pizza and service. However last time i had a rude encounter with a manager after they burnt my food pretty good. However after speaking with the owner he apologized and made me fresh food. Mistakes happen and this place is amazing.”

“The Apple Spice Cupcakes are to die for! When I first ordered I was (honestly) a little hesitant due to the fact that its all vegan, but they were loads better than regular cupcakes! And as a bonus, I didn't feel bloated or gross from artificial sweeteners, or fake flavorings. Absolutely phenomenal!”

“Menu has changed since the last time I was there, they didn't ask what kind of cheese I wanted. They just went by what the menu says that the sandwich comes with. I know now that if I want something different that I need to inform them before they start making the sandwich. Also, I couldn't see them making the sandwich because of the way the setup is. Again, now I know.Total bill was about $14 for one foot long, no chips, no drinks.”

“Stopped on the way home from a graduation ceremony. I don't normally get over that way, but when I do I will be stopping there.Ice cream was good and prices were reasonable for the market. The flurries had a lot of toppings also.Great little local place off the beaten track, but worth the trip.”
