I'd love to rate higher, last few times I've tried to stop, doors were locked during business hours. Food and service are fantastic if you're lucky enough to get in. I may skip trying next time for a different establishment at this point.
Edit: I wasn't aware of all the issues you were facing! Updating to 5 stars, you guys deserve it, I'll try again next time. 😊

Wonderful place! Service was on-point and really made our morning so pleasant today! I loved the theme inside - welcoming of everyone - a sign about veterans being the true patriots, asking us to be the voice of the voiceless! Our waitress Brittany was amazing. The owner came around to each table as well and we had such a nice chat. He even gave my 4 year old stickers :) the sausage biscuits were really flavorful. The waffle was large and tasted like vanilla! But it wasn't crispy (but it's hard to get crispy waffles!) we also really enjoyed the US and World maps with the pins you could push in for your hometown. We would come back for sure!

I’ve driven past this wonderful little cafe countless times, but it wasn’t until I saw their shirts ā€œout in the wildā€ that I realized that I love their sense of humor and I needed to give them a try.

This is one of the absolute best breakfast spots in the area, period. Not only is the food delicious, but the owners and staff genuinely treat you like family. This feels more like going to a relative’s house for breakfast or lunch than a cafe.

Don’t pass up on the sweet treats, either… the cinnamon roll is to die for.

Thank you for being awesome - looking forward to the next visit!

✨ This morning, Mike and I found ourselves at the sweetest hidden gem — The Crowes Nest. Not only was the food amazing (the biscuits and gravy were chef’s kiss 🤌), but the real magic was the owners.

Two husbands, running this place side by side, and the way one spoke about the other had my heart melting. Genuine admiration, love, and respect in every word. You can see it in how they work together, how they greet you, and even in the little details around the restaurant.

It’s not just a meal here — it’s an experience wrapped in warmth, love, and the kind of partnership we should all hope to have. If you haven’t been yet, trust me. It's worth the drive šŸš—

****CAUTION****

Proceed with caution eating here. If you leave an honest review the owner doesn't like, he will attack you on social media and just look at his comments below! He really should see someone for his issues.

Food 10/10, service 10/10! My husband and I have come here 5 or 6 times since moving to the area and have never left disappointed. The chicken & waffle sandwich is a must and the omelettes are amazing. We love The Crowes Nest!

Wonderful, the cinnamon rolls are great. They were best without brandied pecans

Drove a long way to specifically try this place. Pull up at 12:30 on a Saturday when the hours posted everywhere tell us we have hours to enjoy before they close. Pull up and it’s a little hole in the wall which we expected and love. There’s an outdoor patio that looks inviting with other people outside eating. We walk in and go up to the counter - to be told they are closed and are not seating. Meanwhile while I’m sitting in the parking lot floored that we drove an hour to eat here and get turned away during business hours - more cars are pulling up. People are going in. I’m not seeing them leaving - so did THEY get service? Thank you for wasting our time today. We’ve tried to come here one other time during open hours and they were 100% closed, so at this point I’m just calling it. Hope other people have better luck with this place, but don’t make a special trip unless you have a backup.

Drove over an hour to eat here. When I showed up there's people eating and enjoying themselves but the the workers told us they were closed and they had to close at noon today. Not cool when there are actual customer relaxing and enjoying food. Enjoy the one star like I enjoyed the long drive and waste of gas.

We were welcomed on arrival like we were celebrities, and treated like good friends throughout the meal. Our food was absolutely delicious and portions were huge. We literally put a pin in this place, as we marked the map. We will be back!
