This is the best ice cream anywhere. And I even am comparing it to other Dairy Queen's. They serve the ice cream at the correct temperature. A lot of places don't know how to keep track of the temperature that the ice cream should be. Always so creamy. Some ice cream is too cold believe it or not.
Update: Not the only one now, but can be considered the OG "walk-up" DQ . Still great service, though due to inflation, like most other stores, the portions seem smaller. Whadayagonnado?It's DQ and the only one in Jackson! Still, they do a fantastic job, it's family owned AND they are open from February to November in Michigan. Nothing like a line up for ice cream in frigid wintery weather!
Best Turtle Sundae/Pecan Mudslide in the city. I love salty pecans, and they have the saltiest nuts this side of the not so grand, Grand River! Great staff and pretty quick. PS... don't forget to tip your servers...js
