Finley's was so great to work with when they catered my wedding. They really went above and beyond for us. We wanted to have cheesey potatoes, so they took a family recipe of ours, tweaked it for a large crowd, and served it at our wedding! Talk about accommodation! The food was great, and their prices are really great too! Thank you Brian and the crew at Finley's!
Stopped spur of the moment, hadn't been to Finley's in years. The menu wasn't exactly what I was looking for but we decided to share the Sampler Meal and I ordered a additional side garden salad. We also ordered wine, A bit disappointed a Bottle was not a option. The food was prepared perfectly and was more then enough for two. Didn't even have room for dessert, which was our intention when we decided to share a entree. Oh and did I mention, it was Father's Day AND our 29th Anniversary, turned out pretty good for under$40.
Quality food and service. They put some seasoning on my steak fries which I determined probably contained dairy which I cannot have. No problem. They brought me some without. THE best steak fries. They're so big and delicious. LOVE the smoked pork and all the BBQ sauce choices. A+++
Great food, great service. A little pricey but thats to be expected. I had the salmon with broccoli and it was amazing. Great place for parties. Its awesome for birthdays because you get a discount on your meal.
Nice atmosphere. Family dining. Was seated in a timely manner. Was greeted nicely. Had a good server. Very polite. I would've rated a 5* but food was served to my companions before me and I waited almost an extra half hour longer to get mine. The food was delicious. And my meal was removed from the bill.
Changed for the better very good food and priced rite for all incomes. Staff was great bathroom was clean. The hot rock was the same i had at the know restaurant. But the 3 min drive beat the hour drive i had to take before and food was better. Too me
I'm rating this 3 stars only because of the nice server. Otherwise it would be less. We were here on a Friday night after 7:30 pm so they were just starting to clear out from a busy time. It seems like they were seriously understaffed because our server was in several areas of the restaurant. He was apologetic about our food taking a long time to get to us, but was able to refill our drinks. The food was just mediocre, but everything there used to be really good and made with more care. The worst part though was that it just seemed dirty. The drink menu that was propped in center of table was sticky and dirty with obvious chunks of food stuck to it. The menus were not much better. Seriously, I would have hated to culture them for bacteria. Take the time to use the right cleaning solution for the tables and wipe down everything. Those stand up menus on the table had a very long build-up of dirt on them. It's sad that it seems like they do not take much pride in the this place anymore. Even the free birthday meal could not bring us back. Good job to the server, and the other staff such as the busboy who pitched in to help. It was nice to see the teamwork!
Why don't I think to come here more often? Every time I go I enjoy the food! This needs to be a more regular stop for me. The french onion soup is divine! The side selections are not boring like other places, and they even have a hot rock to cook on now!
I went for my birthday. Slowest service, cold food and charged me for ice tea refills that the waitress just kept bringing to the table. I never asked for a refill. Asked for bread 3 times. The only part of our experience that was any good was a little 2 yr old girl running around the place entertaining everybody. Now I remember why we don't go there unless for a birthday.
It was my birthday yesterday. For years, my wife has suggested that I get a free steak at Finley's on my birthday. Well it was a Friday, we're Catholic and I noticed "Fish Fry" on the menu. Fish=protein! Then our beautiful and charming server, Melissa, mentioned the fish dinner. Wow. Entered, greeted, seated, watered, ordered and served in minutes. And it was delicious. Honestly, I could not imagine a better outing/meal with my wife of 33 years. Thank you! And I mean that with all my heart.

Relaxed, family restaurant. Very clean. Fast, friendly service. You can order a cocktail here. Great food such as salads, steaks, chicken, even pasta. I love their fresh baked bread. Lastly if you go there on your birthday, they are one of the few places around that give you a freebie on your birthday! It makes it special.
Finley's has excellent food for the money spent. I've never been disappointed. I wouldn't call them THE BEST but they are The Best in Jackson for the fare they offer imho.
Every time we order over phone it is over 6 min wait at least . Then once they finally answer the phone they Put you back on hold for someone to take your order. It's generally around 4 PM when we call in to make the order. When we get there the place is generally empty, not sureWhy it is such a hassle to place an order here
The service was very friendly but professional we tried the Black stone which made it a different experience I would have liked some seasoning choices at the table but other than that we would definitely recommend it and do it again.
Very friendly , great food
