The absolute best donuts in the Midwest. Hands down. They are only open a few days a week, and they only take cash….but the line is always out the door and around the building every morning. If you ever are in the area traveling, you have to stop here. The building is falling apart, and the inside of the store looks like my 90 year old Grandma’s attic. But you will keep coming back for the donuts.
Article in MLive said this is the best donut in Michigan and its been in the same family for 100 years. Got to give it a try. Again, this is a 100 years old family business,

They make yeast and cake donut and have typical shapes you see in other places. All very good, bigger size than average. They also have a crescent donut which looks like an empanada. (See pictures).
