The interior of the restaurant is small six tables or so. The refried beans are great. The hot sauce is great. The toastadas are great. They actually use real cheese. The staff is friendly and the service is great. This is a really great Mexican restaurant.

I got a wet burrito with sour cream. It was fine, but very bland. It had beans in it instead of refried beans, the burrito meat mixture was kinda wet, and didn't really have much flavor. I asked for hot sauce, and was given warm unflattering not spicy sauce. I can remember 15 years ago the burritos were dryer, had refried beans in them, and they could provide a hot sauce that made me sweat. All and all kinda below average in my opinion.

Tacos had way too much lettuce and cheese and not enough beef. If I wanted a taco salad I would have ordered one. Also since when does a taco place not have any kid of nacho or liquid cheese??

Sure glad to find this place. Small, older restaurant off the beaten path but worth the stop. The food was very good and the staff was helpful and engaging. The chips are great, grab the guacamole to go with.

Order a beef nachos with some other items and when I get to work I see my nachos were only cheese. I called and told them about the messed up order. The only thing they could tell it was their mistake but told me they only charged me just for a cheese nacho instead of a beef nacho. Just said sorry and did not offer me a replacement or refund or put me in a book for a free replacement. So I try to just eat the nachos...it was not hot or even warm. The cheese was cold. Just nasty wit no flavor. I'm not coming here again.

This is a locally-owned, family owned business that has been in business about 40 years. They must be doing something right to last that long. Portion sizes are larger than most Mexican restaurants in the area. Their "mini" burrito is what most other places call the dinner sized. They put their own spin on each dish to contrast with the rest of the places you know. No alcohol. They have a drive thru and let you call ahead. Give them a try.

My favorite in Jackson. The lady asked me a while back "have you ever tried medium and hot sauce mixed together. It is perfect sauce, not too hot and not too mild. Try it sometime!(;

I hate to not rate this higher. The hours are an absolute joke. I love their food, but they are closed for every first shift worker. I miss the old hours where you could actually drive past and it was open.You literally make no money when you are closed. Being closed for every dinner and weekend is a joke...and a bad one at that.
