Had an excellent time here. The chef was one of the better Hibachi chefs I've seen and was super enthusiastic. I only knocked down a star because the chicken and vegetables came with teriyaki on them which was nowhere on the menu and I would have preferred them without. Otherwise awesome.

Went here last week, reserved a table for a party of 8. At the end, we ask for the bill to be split in 2, and they bring it out and advise that they automatically added 18% gratuity to EACH of our bills. We asked why and they said they do it on parties over 6, and we reserved and came in as one party. Okay, so charge the automatic gratuity ONCE, not twice. We had 2 bills, with each a party of 4 on them..so in that case it shouldnt apply anyways. But the manager kept referencing how our reserved "party" in total was a part of 8. Once again, thats fine, then charge the gratuity fee ONCE. Lol Didnt make sense at all. But be warned!

This establishment was so accommodating to the needs my family had with a dementia patient. The food and service was phenomenal the whole team was just amazing. I really can't say enough to thank them so that my family could get together.Dietary restrictions: No issues with my pesticide allergy so no veggies and they were extremely accommodating to all the needs at the table.Kid-friendliness: We had 4 kids all together from toddler to teenager and each of them were so happy and excited. The kindness the staff showed them made them all feel special and great.

Ichiban Japanese Steakhouse is always a great choice for great quality and great-tasting food. The service has always been impeccable. I don't eat in all that often I mostly get hibachi takeaway. I live 30 minutes from the Steakhouse and it's still pretty warm by the time I get home. Staff are amazing and I just highly recommend this place if you are around the area.

Ichiban has always been one of my favorite places to eat at in Jackson. They offer a large array of Japanese food and you can even sit with your friends around a hibachi grill and watch the chefs cook your food right in front of you.Pro Tip: If you eat here ask to be served by Maddie! She is a very knowledgeable and attentive server who always does an amazing job every time my friends and I come in to eat. My friends say she also makes great drinks!

It's okay. Quite loud so be prepared to often lean in to hear your table mates conversation. The soup and rice were tasty yet very salty. Sushi was decent enough to go back and have more but still not on par with typical sushi houses. Hibachi shrimp and steak tasted good but, again, quite salty. Loved the theatrics though.

This is thee best, I love coming here, I am hooked. Food and spirits are 100 and the staff, fun, courteous, professional, never had to wait for anything.

Our server was fantastic, the food was okay but small portioned, the Chef was extremely BORING! I Pay for the experience. Otherwise I'd get the same bland Hibachi plate from our mall. John was an absolute snoozefest. He came, he cooked, and he bailed quietly. I was bummed because it was my 12-year-old sons first Hibachi experience. He said he'd rather eat ate Asian Buffet.Our chef was done with two tables before the great chefs were even wrapping one table. They threw shrimp and did all the extras. Ours did not and didn't even offer. He's way too timid to be a showman. Our whole dining experience was under 40 minutes from walking in the door to out. Being seated to paying to leaving. It's not a fast food place. All the people before us were still there eating. Lovely place, just specifically ask for anyone else than John. He is not right for something with people involved. We won't return.
