Such a disappointment to see how far this place has fallen. And It used to at least give decent size portions, but we walked in got barely 3 pint-sized cups that we're mostly empty and were charged $38. The staff was clearly looking to get out early because they kept chasing people out of the door. I'm sure it's going to close soon and it's probably for the best. Hopefully a new owner can make it go. I'm not sure what the hell they're trying to do with it currently.

Yummy ice cream! Huge servings. As they should be for the amount you pay. But the place is ice cold! Freezing in there so go in in a snowsuit!!

If you are looking for a GENEROUS serving of ice cream in your favorite flavor(s) with all the toppings, this is the place to go. Servers are friendly. Retro 50s style.

We ordered sundaes and got sick on them it seems that they froze the icecream and let it get soft and refroze it I don't like to complain but my husband and I was sick all night because of it

Came in 20 minutes before close, was immediately told they were take-out only (which was what I had planned. Ordered two turtle sundaes, bill after modest tip was $30.00. Ouch. Ice cream was nowhere near as good as I remembered, hot fudge and caramel was sparse and not very tasty, pecans were only the small crumbled ones, maybe two teaspoons (they used to be large pieces). Whipped cream was maybe a tablespoon dropped in one corner. Very disappointed. I've been going there for my whole life, and every time it was delicious and worth the money. Not this time. Probably will never go back, even though I live less than three minutes from there.

Classic nostalgic old ice cream shop. Large portions of all the things that make America great

I visit The Parlour once every summer with my kids since moving away from Jackson. I was very disappointed when we were there for our annual visit a few weeks ago. Where are the nice ice cream bowls and parfait glasses? We were served in plastic cups and white cereal bowls. Three of our four orders were supposed to have hot fudge, instead it was like thin Hershey chocolate syrup. What a disappointment this year. I hope The Parlour I grew up with returns or we may be skipping our future visits.

Ice cream is good. Food is not. Hamburger is just like my high school cafeteria, and that's not a compliment. I hope they upgrade or just sell ice cream only because it's a very cool place and it would be sad to see it close.

Ice cream is great. Servings are large. Staff is awesome. Ambiance is like old school parlor. What more could you want?

This place unsurprisingly is a joke just like the ice cream side. First order their site was in the wrong timezone/date so the order was for a future date despite choosing ASAP. Second order placed my order well over an hour before they close, got there at pickup time and they said they were closing in 15 minutes and can't make pizza.

Hours online say open 9:00 PM. Called at 8:00 PM asking to what time they were open till. They told up 8:30 PM... kinda odd but alright. Arrived at 8:10 and they locked the doors. Worker unlocked it to let others out (while we were standing in front of it) and told us they were closed rudely. This is the 2nd time they have done this to us.WOULD NOT RECOMMEND
